Ginger batted him over the ear lightly with her paw. She pressed her nose to his cheek and nuzzled him softly. She took a munch of the antelope,enjoying her prey. "How was your day?" she asked him.

Saint smiled," Great. The wild dogs weren't found. Obviously too scared to show themselves!"

Ginger flicked her tail. "Well they were scared of my big handsome guy." she purred and rested her head on his neck. She began to groom him kindly.

Saint rolled his eyes, nuzzling Ginger. The lion flicked his tail, looking at the camp entrence.

Ginger followed his gaze with her bright amber eyes. Her ears were perked forward. "What's wrong?" she asked Saint worriedly. Her tail twitched nervously.

"Nothing.." He mumbled, flashbacks of his sister's dead body being dragged in the camp entrance, fur and flesh ripped out from savage and starving hyenas.

Ginger nosed his chin up "You ok?" she asked softly. She licked his cheek gently.

"Yeah." Saint raised his head, licking her forehead.

Ginger looked up at him with love in her amber eyes "I'm so glad i met you." she purred. She placed her paw over top of his.

Saint purred, grooming her fur lovingly.
