A Spyder is a spider. Kind of obvious, but there are quite a few differences. Spyders can talk, they speak languages such as English, Spanish, Iltalian, Russian, French, and many others. Though they have their own language, called Spydish. It is commonly referred to as Spyder-Speak. Spyders were first discovered in Puru, though they claim they originate from a realm known as Ish Fugi in Spydish, which roughly translates to 'Oppsite Parallels'. The Spyders refuse to tell us meager creatures anything else about their odd realm.

Spyders are quite large, about the size of a small dog, and they are taller rather than wider, like most spiders. Males tend to border on that law, though, and are usually quite wide compared to the females. The females are very dainty and will die if dropped from anything above four feet. They are excellent web weavers, though. Males, on the other hand, are much hardier and can survive falls from up to fifteen feet. They are terrible web weavers, though, and tend to dig burrows to live in out in the wild.

Well, here of course! This is the only place in the entire world where you can get a Spyder. The Ghashi Hash (Imperial Council in English) has decided to make a treaty with Chicken Smoothians. They would choose one special Chicken Smoothian to hand out Spyders to other Chicken Smoothians, but for a price. The Spyders want Chicken Smoothie pets! Are you prepared to make the trade?

There is a strict and unwavable set of prices that the Spyder community will take for one of their own being handed out. They feel these members of ther nation that are offering to venture out into the hands of Chicken Smoothians are brave and valuable beyond all measure, but they understand that Chicken Smoothians do not exactly feel the same way. So each Spyder has a set price when it is put up for sale. Some prices are very different, depending on the Spyder's history, it's family it left back home, and what line it comes from, which means whether it's family is royal or not.

Each pet has a set price that is included on the pet's adoption sheet. A Member's Fee is required upon your first post and all Chicken Smoothians must have one. They only need to be purchased once and last forever. A Breeder's Card is required for all Chicken Smoothians looking to breed their Spyders. They are required one for each breeding Spyder and last forever.

Customs, otherwise known as Lab-Genned Spyders, are very controversial in the Spyder world. Many argue that it is unnatural to breed a modified Spyder, while others argue that Spyders shouldn't allow Chicken Smoothians to pick and choose what Spyders look like and definitly shouldn't have access to the Spyder's genetic material to modify the Spyder's babies, which would be the custom. Some still say that Chicken Smoothians are offering Chicken Smoothie pets for these Spyders and that the Spyder nation should comply, but the topic is still quite touchy to Spyders. Therefore, we currently do not offer them but plan to soon with the Imperial Council's verdict.

Breeding occurs at completely random times of the month and will always be available at a specified time around holidays. The are certain things you can purchase with Chicken Smoothie pets that will effect the litter (That's what a batch of Spyder babies are called). Litter's have eight to ten Spyders in each but a Chicken Smoothian may only keep three to four. Any extras are put up for adoption.

If you read the prices, you'll know you have to have a breeding card for both Spyders being bred to breed them. Each costs one OMG So Common or a Common Item per card and your Spyder picture will be updated with a card with a B on it. They last the remainder of the Spyder's life.

Holiday Breeding, as you've probably guessed, is different from regular breeding. The Spyders naturally know when certain holidays are coming and their hormones will show it. Any litters bred and birthed in the set time span (Which will be posted) tend to get some characteristics of that Holiday. For example; If you bred your pair on December 23rd and the litter is born on Christmas, it is almost for sure that every single baby will have some form of Christmas on them. The forms of Christmas could be a Christmas tree shaped marking, full on Christmas colors, or, very rarely, even a mutation such as a star on the top of their heads. This can happen with any Holiday, like Easter where they might end up getting bunny ears or egg designs. There are magic Spyder items than can be purchased to increase or decrease the chances of getting a litter like this.

Note: If there are certain holiday's that the adopting Chicken Smoothian is offended by and would rather not have, please Private Message Msshardy and I♥TheWanted and we will make sure not to put any offending things in your litter. The same goes with holidays you do want. We only celebrate holidays in the U.S. without being asked for anything else. Also, hanukkah is not celebrated and neither is kwanza unless you ask for it and it will still never be applied to any Chicken Smoothians accept for the ones requesting it.

Anybody who cannot come up with a rule immediantly after being asked needs to go back and read Tess's rules over again. Make sure you are aware of all the rules that come with the adoptable oekaki.
