its a shame i dont even live near an ocean anymore. i would definitely be doing more stuff about it. but for now i can just stick with online petitions Dx im guessing yu guys live near the ocean?

I actually live pretty close to the ocean. Only about 50 minutes away. Its kinda nice. =D

I live like, 10 minutes away. So its really nice. I go and pick up liter sometimes. When we were on vacation, I was on the beach and I just saw all these peices of trash and I just picked it up. Random, but good. Oh, and SB is right, this is really bad, but, I'm just trying to look at the bright side. Anyway, I'm relly lucky to live by the ocean, except with you seal baby, the good thing is you don't have to deal with hurricanes. (Again trying to look at the bright side). Anyway, I'm trying to do whatever I can to help. Thanks for making me a member.

Hi! I live about five minutes away from the ocean and spend basically every day there. The oil hasn't hit our beaches badly yet, but it makes me sooooooo sad to see what's happening to the world. Can you beleive the oil is still flowing into the ocean?! unbeleivable! I've loved sea turtles all my life and i get soooo choked up every time i think about the spill. all of the innocent creatures having their lifes taken by the oil. When will it end?
