Hunting and trapping IS NOT humaine!! You're killing the animal for no good reason! Does it matter how you killed it, as long is it was for NO GOOD REASON?! It's a pelt. And pelts aren't needed. Now, if you use it as meat, what ever! But just the pelt?
No good reason to kill an animl for it's pelt.
And no. Wolves aren't over-populating us. We're over populating them. Humans take up so much space that animals are crammed into little areas, making their species seem over populated.
Also, again I would like to remind you; I am fine with using an animal after it's natural death, just not killing it to use.
"No good reason to kill an animl for it's pelt"
The pelt of a wolf can bring money to a starving family, for starters. What about fur, to keep you warm during the winter? Most hunters I know also use every part of the animal they can, and not using the pelt would be a waste.
Also, the entire human population could live quite comfortably inside the state of Texas. Just thought you should know that. No, wolves aren't "overpopulating us," but they are overpopulating in their ecosystems, and killing off all the elk.
Hunting and trapping CAN be humane, contrary to popular belief *coughcough wolfaboos coughcough*
Traps are actually DESIGNED to be humane to animals- by that, I mean killing them instantly so that they don't feel pain before they die, or not that much pain. It's easier to humanely kill with a gun, however. Let's just hope you have good aim and that you won't dislocate your shoulder while trying to shoot it.
