Also, artificial pelts would do nothing for education. Only real fur has realistic feel, coat patterns and so on, not to mention real fur is FAR warmer. Killing overpopulated animals (wolves are one of them) is very beneficial to all animals in the area as well.. We NEED hunting.
Besides, I have to ask and don't take this offensively, but do you eat meat? Have leather furniture? Drink milk? I assume you use paint and soap?
About that bottom part, yes, yes, yes, and yes. I do use all animal products, but that's different. Those are farm animals bred and used for those specific purposes. Purposes such as food, apulstry {{couches, seating, ect.}}, or other things. But, killing wild animals is different. They weren't bred to be used.
If, of course, that's what you're asking.
Also, if I went to court, I just want to say I could argue on and on about animal hunting {{because, of course, I am totally against it}}, and probobly still lose. But, I will forever dislike the idea, so don't try to convince me! Lolz, just don't!

Killing is part of nature, wild animals are eaten and "used" daily. Why does it matter if the animal using it is a human or say, a coyote?
Also, hunting is far more humane. Just because they were "bred" doesn't mean they have to bleed to death, be electrocuted, beaten or kept in cramped cages. It's brutal, but needs to be known. Hunting is one bullet to a vital organ like the heart or head. Instant, painless death.
And you can always change your opinion if you have the will to actually learn about hunting, which is the way of life for many, including natives. Very many people's hatred is born of ignorance, whether it be with hunting, dog breeds, religion, homosexuality or what have you.. But that's a whole 'mother story..

yes this thank
i mean, it's fine and all that you're against hunting, but it seems a bit hypocritical to eat meat and support the much crueler deaths of animals while claiming to be against hunting. no offense, of course.
also, out of curiosity, you're not against fur farming, either, then? not that it's similar to factory farming at all, of course [it is much more humane and useful as a whole], just curious.

Well, to answer any questions....
I am definetly against hunting, don't even try to deny me on this one!! But, using an animal after it's natural death is fine. I don't in any way support natrul deaths, they can be brutal! But, think about it, Does killing the animals that you do prevent it in any way? No. The animals you don't kill still have to go through it and, heck, they even get to live a longer life! Most likly, anyway. Sure, a shot to the brain doesn't hurt much, but the animal is still dieing{{Gosh, can't spell for my life...}}. Does it really make it any better? In realalty, unless an animal passes away from old age, I'm against animal deaths all together. Unless, it is of old age, or they are humanly killed when they are surverely injured or deseased.
So, if it's not releasing the animal from true misary {{injury or deseased}}, or dying of old age, I am against death in every way. Hunting is no exception for me. But, if you don't hunt the animal, and use it's body after it's death, I guess that's perfectly fine!

Still, I find it hypocritical you eat meat and are against hunting.
And as I've said, hunting is beneficial. Would you really rather there be no hunting, and in turn, animals get so overpopulated they starve to death, create more disease, and encroach more into human towns looking for food? With hunting prey species and predator species are kept at a good population.

So in other words you wouldn't support an animal humanely during rather than horrible deaths, you don't want to see a healthy wolf body on display in museums and you are ok with eating farm raised animals that are killed by being electrocuted and crushed?

so, Eagle's Flight, you're okay with this...

but not a humane death with an animal who was allowed a natural life?
wolves, cougars, bears kill animals in the wild -- why can't humans?
hunted animals have healthier, better meat than most farm raised animals. you know where it came from(unlike a random mysterious package at the store), (in most cases) harvested it yourself, etc.?
have you visited or done extensive research on the animal products you buy such as meat, eggs, milk?? for all you know, you could be supporting and giving money to animal cruelty.
i truthfully, HONESTLY have no idea why you think "hunting is bad, but farming is fine". it makes no sense.

This is why I want my own chickens.
I don't see what is wrong with hunting.
We have permission to take rabbits from farms close to were live. We use the pelt's for training the Lurcher's we use. We feed the dogs and ferrets on rabbit's we take ( cats love rabbit stew). We eat the meat our selves and nothing is wasted. Hell I even have some rabbit skin mittens warmer than my coat.
I'm also hoping to go deer stalking when the deer cull is finalized in the UK as we are way over populated but my dad says before hand I need to learn to shoot clean.
Also the reason we use dog's is because most farmers wont let you take guns on there property in case you miss and working so close to live stock ( which are kept out at all times ) they don't want any accident's and a well trained Lurcher should return the catch live to hand so they be dispatched or let go if to small.
I was thinking on making a topic about using dogs for hunting to see what people thought nothing like fox hunting as I myself think that is rather barbaric but things like rabbiting and the use of dogs for tracking deer for hunters. What do you think should I.
