Oh, has everyone seen the new Bodyline JSK? They're going very JetJ here, I think. I'd purchase it if it weren't for the fact that the waist on even the M size is too large for me to fit ^^;

Oh, I have a question for you, fellow Lolis. :3
I have really long thick hair. Like, past my bum length, and it's completely unmanageable. Currently it's hime cut and I can do nothing with it because it's so heavy. ^^;
Anyway, the bottom line is that I want my hair cut. The problem I'm facing is that I still want my hair to be suitable for Lolita - especially with my prom in a couple of months since my dress is Wa/Gothic.
So, to finally get to the point; anyone know any shoulder-length—mid-length loli haircuts?

I recommend the short cut- High quality lolita wigs ^^
I recently cut my hair so short it can't be tied up, so I have a collection of pretty wigs to go with my lolita <3
I find it is cheaper in the long run because you don't need to keep having in cut or coloured, and then you can change your 'hair' according to what you are wearing ^^

I personally think any hairstyle can go with Lolita, really. I mean, I have a shoulderlength hime cut that's black and red of all colours.
I recommend, if you like full fringes, going for one of those. Aside from that any hair will go, I believe. If you dislike a full fringe and would like a sideswept one, keeping it short is always a good bet, above eye level, really. c: Just cutting the rest of your hair to the desired length, even if you want layers in it, would be fine, as it could always be styled (if your hair's thick, you could request they thin it out some for you? Hair curlers also work magic for styling unstylable hair if you leave them in for long enough, maybe overnight).

I think I'm going to go short - well, pretty much anything's short to me at the moment, but maybe just below shoulder-length/mid shoulder blade, and have it made into a more traditional hime cut. Currently my shorter strands of hair are just to the bottom of my chin, so I'll probably go for cheek length this time. As for fringe, I already have a blocky fringe, so that's staying. I kinda don't want to go really short because - and this sounds stupid - I'm worried I'll lose a bit of my identity if I do. I've always been 'the girl with the long hair', so it'll be strange to change that.

So yeah, mid shoulder blade length hime cut. With purple highlights, since I'm a Goth Loli so can get away with it~

I love your long hair, Mero! If you get it cut before judo I'll be annoyed. Let me play with it one more time ;^; Yeah, I was going to suggest that you should keep your front style but went for the length you want. I presumed you were going to keep it the same just shorter.

So, do you guys doing anything with your nails for loli? Or do you paint your nails in a loli inspired style? I don't normally paint my nails but I recently went for a sweet loli/decora/kawaii look just because I can. Normally my nails get destroyed with judo and dogs. And before Mero says it, we need our nails short for judo so we don't take someone's eye out! Mine actually grow back really well because of the constant trimming and filling but I just never paint them.

Personally, I don't paint my nails for Lolita.. ^^ I often try to do so, but I lack the patience to sit around and wait for each coat to dry (keeping in mind the base and overcoat, and that I need two coats of colour) so I end up wrecking them and having to remove them anyway. I just get very frustrated trying to paint them and don't think it's much worth me stressing myself out c':
I would love to be able to paint them though; I kind of want to have nice nails so I can paint them a nice pastel colour with white polka-dots. I think it'd be cute.
