I know exactly what you just went through! I did it myself about... um, ya long time.. If you want to ask any questions you dont feel comfortable asking the group. Trust me we have asked some odd questions, even me and were met with wonderful answers! Dont hesitate to pm me, there are a few others that will offer the same.

I need to ask something.
one of my friends is a wiccan she has been one for 5 years.Thing is she cuts herself.I have talked to her about because she has started to cut deeper in to her skin.I told her that I think she should ask the goddess for help to stop before it becomes unhealthy.She said and I quote "The goddess doesn't care if or how I cut myself.Besides if she didn't like it she should tell me to stop."
What I want to know is what she said have any truth in it at all?I just have a feeling it's not true at all and the goddess isn't that happy about it.I don't know.Any ideas guys?

have you told her that harming yourself goes against the rede? it's kind of a.. small reason but i've seen a lot of wiccans say that if you're going to be wiccan you should stop any self-harming, including cutting yourself, smoking, drinking, etc.

While it may be alright to ask the goddess for help you might want to try to help your friend yourself. Try talking to her when she's upset and be patient since this is a delicate subject, make sure she knows she can come to you for support. While the goddess probably does care that she is harming herself you have to remember that even the gods/goddesses cannot help every problem.
