Sunshine pressed into Flintbreeze's warm fur and comforting scent. She gathered her two remaining kits close to her protectively, as if it would help protect them. Exhausted at last, Sunshine began to nod off, comforted by the feel of Flintbreeze and the knowledge that two of her kits were still alive and well.

Skypaw had now left the nursery so that the two cats could be alone with their kits. She frowned and hoped that redkit would be saved.

After a while Silverstorm had finished a successful hunt. She padded back to where she had last seen Blackhaze wondering how he was doing. They had been hunting for a while and she began to think it would be best if they started to head back to camp.

Hawk signed as he came across a large road that divided the city from the forest. He paused and watched a monster came zooming past him with great speed. Most cats would quake at the sight but Hawk had grown so use to it he didn't even flinch. He took a few steps on the road, turned to see if anything was coming then bolted across the street and onto the other side. He didn't look back and slipped into the forest.

Blackhaze returned with a finch and a blackbird. He looked at Silverstorm, then dropped his catch. "Ready to head back?" he asked, planning on not talking about the mouse he had missed earlier. It had ruined his hunting with that squeak that seemed to loud to actually have come from it's body. Mice frustrated him sometimes. He began to uncover the hole where they had buried their first catches.

Silverstorm nodded. "Yeah." She said glancing at the sky then back at Blackhaze. It was later han she had expected. Silverstorm waited for Blackhaze to dig up the prey they caught at first before picking up some to carry back.
