Personality:
She's usually really quiet, but when you get to know her, she isn't. She has an issue with most people in authority, but most of the time, it's not a huge problem. She writes a lot, and she loves every minute of it. She can also be a really good advice giver when she wants to be, and she can be just as mean, too. She has the ability to hold grudges for literally years, although she really tries not to. She tends to hold things in for a while, but she doesn't let big issues sit there and rot for a long time before she finally deals with them. She can't do that.
She's extremely stubborn and determined. If she doesn't want to do something, there is literally no way that you can make her do it, and if she wants to do something, there's no way you can stop her. Only she decides that. She's loyal to the people she likes, but not in the sense that she would follow them off a cliff. Just in the sense that she's almost always there for them if they ever need her.
History:
She's had kind of an... interesting past. She was adopted when she was a baby, and she didn't find that out until she was thirteen, which made her mad. Very mad. That started her decade-long grudge against her parents. She still speaks to them, but the combination of them lying to her for thirteen years and the fact that they weren't that close to begin with caused them to drift farther apart. She's polite to them, but their relationship doesn't go much further than that. Her older brother (who is their parents' biological child) was diagnosed with cancer when he was fifteen, when she was twelve. He survived, but just barely. He has to go get check-ups often. Besides that, life before high school was pretty okay. Nothing too bad happened and nothing too good happened.
In high school, she started getting bullied, and not in the ways that people often think of when they think of bullying. She wasn't hit or called names. It was a lot more subtle than that. People would befriend her and stay really good friends with her for a few weeks, then slowly start to ignore her, almost like she was being replaced. Most of her friends that stayed friends with her throughout high school were guys, which made other people think she was a... well, I'm sure you can imagine what they thought of her. At first, she was really offended by things like that, but after a little while, she stopped caring. It wasn't worth getting depressed over. A few months before she graduated, she started learning guitar and bass guitar. After graduation, she spent two years at college before she decide that she hated it and left. She was twenty when she left college, and she's been living on her own for about three years. She's a tattoo artist.
