Sawyer felt another punch connect into her ribs, and she staggered, her knees giving out on her. But even she wasn't dropped to the floor, instead, the man hauled her upwards, holding her entire body open for their attacks. Her head hung forward, like her neck was that of a ragdolls, and unable to support her any longer. With every single punch, Sawyer felt pain bubble up, trying to force itself from her in a painful scream, but even she had her dignity. hanging her head, she saw that her bright white hair was now red with her own blood. the sight of the pure white hair, suddenly impurified made Sawyer's blue eyes shift, lurching forward, the beatings taking their toll.
Distantly, through punches, and crunches, Sawyer also heard the sorry sobs of a child. When she was given a moment to breath, she slowly turned to look to the left of her, and her enemies. There, huddling inside of a booth, was a small child, a little boy, with bright red cheeks and eyes, tears falling as he screamed into an older womans chest. The older woman looked nearly fifteen, still younger than Sawyer, yet she shielded the child without any resistance. Sawyer knew that by now, she had probably had a rib broken, her lips was split open, and blood stained her chin from the last few brutal hits. Her cheek was bright, and bruising into a disgusting purple, blue shade. The girl already knew that she was well totaled, and was probably asking for it, but when one of the men grabbed her hair and pulled her face up to his, Sawyer only narrowed her ie blue orbs, and refused to show the pain caused by their hands. It was only physical, this would heal, but that child in the booth, the people in the resturaunt. They would never feel safe again, and Sawyer wasn't sure if they even knew who the bad guys were here.
So, when the man growled, and forced her to watch, Sawyer met his eyes, and watched him stiffen up. "Dirty Resistance Scum, trying to butt your head in. I guess even a good beating won't keep you down!" Sawyer heard a pause, and gazed up, knowing that the man expected some answer. So, she smirked, and coughed a little before she spat blood onto the toe of his shoe, her eyes dull. "That's the only answer I can give to a man who kills." She said, a smile ghosting past her lips. She looked up when there was a moment of silence, and suddenly watching the man, enraged, rip her head up in the air and letting his fist fly. Sawyer spat out blood, stars dancing in her vision, followed by blotches of dark black. Pain exploded, and without any restraint, she gasped in sharply, a sharp growl of pain following. Suddenly, the beating became more brutal. punch after punch, kick after kick, but in all of it, SAwyer forced her crumbling body to stay standing, to refuse defeat.
Sawyer was sure that she would die, there and then, so she spoke up. She thrust her shaking body up, open for any last attacks, and met the mans eyes with her harsh blue gaze,"I'm not the only one. And I'll say it now. Today, it all ends. I'll fight for all of these people, even if they think I'm crazy, I'll save a life." She must've sounded insane, and she knew it. Sawyer knew that she sounded like a lunatic. So, with that, she lunged forward, and arched her head back before she smashed it into his as hard as she could. The man cried, where Sawyer crumpled to the floor in a motionless pile of agonizing pain.
Then, Sawyer heard him, saw him. She forced herbody to flip over, and there she saw the guy whom she was speaking with, jab his fist into one of the agents jaws. They spiraled to the floor, but Sawyer's eyes doubled when another jumped to the fight, and nailed Tobias. Sawyer could feel blood dripping down her chin, but she knew it was far worse than that. Heck, it hurt to even do something as simple as breathing. But seeing Tobias jump in gave her a minor adrenaline rush. Sawyer acted immediately, pushing herself off the floor, suffering through the constant barrage of jagged pains. Yet she pushed herself, she pushed herself until she was standing with the help of the wall. Then, wihtout any warning, she jumped, and tackled the man to the floor, her blue eyes dull, expressionless as he struggled. "This is your last warning. Come back here, and I'll make sure that however many men you bring, will not go back. That's a warning, and I'll promise you, that I will not tell you again. Hear me?" Her voice was soft, dangerously low. The man struggled before he began to panic, unlike his leader, and whimpered,"A-Alright! A-Alright! We won't! I-I swear!" But before Sawyer let up, she hissed,"So, where did all of your friends go?" A voice that clearly meant for him to make up the story he would tell his boss,"T-They all passed out! T-They were all injured in a freak gang fight! They'll be in the hostpital!" Satisfied, Sawyer rolled off, and the man scrambled to his feet and ran off.
Sawyer was done with her brawl, and coughed, pain racketing through her body. She very slowly eased herself up to a sitting position, only to feel a thousand sharp pains tear through her entire body. She roughly kicked out and rammed the back of her head into the wall that supported her. Pain ripped through her, and a cry flew out of her throat. "A-Ah! D-Dangit!" She didn't want to, she felt particularily prickly in her current state, but she slumped against the wall. Whenever she was weak, she felt more edgey. She didn't know who to trust at the moment, in this weak state. Sawyer sucked in deep, inhaling as much air as she could before she clsoed her eyes tightly and tried to pull herself up from the ground. That was often the positon she was left in. Fending for herself, not letting anyone else in. Her breathing was shakey, the same way her body was. To stand put too much strain on her broken and bruised frame, and she weakly crumpled forward again, feeling her vision blurring as a storm of coughing tore through her like a tornado. She remembered Tobias, and slowly looked back at him, her blue eyes starting to hide behind her eyelids, as she was close to blacking out, but she looked at him nonetheless,"Hm, I knew it, you can make your own path. You just need to believe it."
