I... L O V E Y O U? (1x1 Adonis x Medve. Adve)

"That sounds pretty epic," Adonis admitted, glancing at the eerily empty screens of the display laptops. While it was still pretty fun, it was kind of eerie being in this large store all by themselves, everything empty and silent. Maybe a movie would help shake away that eerie feeling of not belonging. To distract himself, he ripped open a bag of gummy bears and began to eat them, heads first, of course. That was the only proper way to eat them. "Want one?" He held the bag out to Medve, wondering if she'd share in his love of sugary treats. He lounged on one of the air mattresses, making himself as comfy as possible.

"Sure," Medve replied, grabbing some as she grabbed in her free hand a large laptop. She sat down on the othrr air matress, typing in some stuff, and doing things to it, till she hacked into it. "Aha," she said, dowloading Netflix, and logging into her account. "Horror or what?" Medve asked Adonis.

"Whatever you want to watch," Adonis replied, blushing a little as he thought of his favorite movie -- something he'd never tell anyone, ever, it was much too embarrassing. His blue eyes sparkled as he tried to hide his blushing-ness by burying his head in his pillows and scarfing down the rest of the gummy bears, making exaggerated chewing noises as though he were destroying something and not just eating them like a civilized dragon would do. Playfully, he turned back to her with one of the tiny gummy heads clamped between his teeth.

Medve raised her brows at him, then looked back at the laptop. She then searched through some movies. "How about Wrong Turn Dead End?" She adked, looking over at him, as she began to play it, laying down and covering up with her blankey, laying her head down on her pillow.

Adonis didn't bother to say anything, merely moving his pillows so he could get a better view of the screen. He looked at Medve, the dear, sweet girl who didn't think she was beautiful and loved horror movies, the one who was the first female friend he'd really ever had. And yes, it was so painfully cliché that he should think he was falling in love with his best friend, but who was he to go against what his aching hear told him was happening? What if he was wrong? He'd never been in love before -- he wasn't like Skippy. Sure, he'd looked at other females and thought they were pretty, but he'd never felt this way.

Medve then got the barbecue chips, "Want some?" She asked softly, as she took some out and ate them. She jumped when she heard a sound from the laptop, "Man, I almost swallowed that chip whole," she said with a small laugh, as she shifted to get comfortable. She looked over at Adonis, then at the computer. She then put her head on his shoulder.

Adonis smiled at the feeling of her head against his shoulder, and gently snatched a chip from the bag to crunch on so he could be doing SOMETHING because his heart was beating like it had a mind to beat right out of his chest. Why did it always do that when she got close? It could be the first time she came near to him, or the last, his heart didn't seem to care or see the difference. It wasn't that he was uncomfortable near her, either, because it felt like home when she slept next to him.

"Remember last night when I told you about that guy I really liked?" She asked, looking up at Adonis. She decided it was time to tell him - she had the courage to do it right now, and thought that she would never build it up again

"Uh... yeah." Adonis managed to mumble, his entire body had gone numb when she spoke those simple words. There was another male out there somewhere, someone who had probably managed to figure out how wonderful she was, just like he had, but he had beat him to it. Some other male was waiting for Medve to rush out of Adonis' arms and right into his. And Medve liked -- no, scratch that, REALLY liked him. It was all he could do to let a breath out and suck another one in so he wouldn't pass out or something extremely obvious like that. He tried to keep his face blank, although it was a struggle.

Medve blinked, "Well, do you wonder who it is....? Do you want me to tell you...?" She asked. She was a little afraid that mayve Adonis wouldn't be her friens or feel uncomfortable around her if she told him. She held her breath, waiting for his answer.
