{So many babeh ratters! That new litter of yours is absolutely precious, ShadiSin ewe}
{In my own news, my boys got their cage thoroughly cleaned, as is my weekly custom, so I gave the boys a bath as well, which they both hated. Well, Elvis doesn't like it, but he will tolerate for a little while. Bowser, on the other hand...he is such a little spazz when it comes to water. He always has been, but lately he's been even worse about it. I had keep a good grip on him just get his fur wet, otherwise he would jump to get away from the water. I feel bad for him because of how much he is terrified of it, but it has to be done, just like clipping his nails...both of my guys are always so fluffy and clean after a bath though.}
{Ratters are such loud eaters xD Everyone wonders how I can sleep at night, as the cage is right by my bed and the boys tend to be quite active art night.}

I found a possible idea for my c&c cage, I want your opinions.

I know it's not an actual cage but this is what I have seen people use and they say it works. This.

It's plastic so it's easy to clean, can change the shape of it and I can make a big one.

I think the biggest problems are that it's plastic (my rats don't chew but if they did they would get out), they can't see out properly and I am not sure if they would get to hot.

or

this

I did want metal bars mainly but I can't seem to find any with smaller bars. Plus the sheets are rather more expensive.
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

iHolli, you definitely don't have to bath them. It's not worth scaring them when they already keep themselves so clean.

Ratties spend so much time cleaning themselves. The issue with bathing them is you're also risking drying out their fur and / or skin. =/ If they are actually dirty, use an unscented baby wipe and wipe them a bit instead.
Not trading.
