Cherrykit pounced on Skypaw's paw, then bounced away, looking at it, then up at the apprentice.

Blackhaze nodded. "Good point. Want to go hunt near the river? Lots of cats fish there, but I don't think they've been hunting the banks much..."

Sunshine purred, then nuzzled Nutkit, devoting some time to simply giving her kits attention.

Redkit squeaked, falling backwards onto Sunshines paws.

Sunshine steadied Redkit with her paws, nosing him to check that he was okay. Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew she was worrying too much but she couldn't help her motherly instinct, wanting to protect her first litter as much as possible.

Sparkpaw purred lightly, watching the kit.

Cherrykit, mastering walking slowly, made her unsteady way to Sparkpaw to smell the other apprentice. Not-family smell. She crouched, then leaped at Sparkpaw's tail, tiny claws trying to latch onto the fur.

Sparkpaw flicked her tail, unaware of the kit's stance.

Cherrykit pounced on Skypaw's paw, then bounced away, looking at it, then up at the apprentice.

Blackhaze nodded. "Good point. Want to go hunt near the river? Lots of cats fish there, but I don't think they've been hunting the banks much..."

Sunshine purred, then nuzzled Nutkit, devoting some time to simply giving her kits attention.

Silverstorm nodded. "Sure that sounds good." She said standing up.

Skypaw couldn't say it, but the look on her face showed she really liked the kits. She watched as cherrykit pounced on sparkpaws tail and she smirked thinking about how one day the kit would be truely hunting.

Cherrykit squeaked and tumbled to the ground in surprise, her eyes wide and staring up at Sparkpaw.

Sunshine's head snapped around as she heard her kit squeak, but Cherrykit seemed to be okay. Even so, Sunshine watched her smallest kit worriedly for a little longer.

Blackhaze purred and let his pelt brush hers before starting towards the camp entrance, waiting to walk with Silverstorm.

Sparkpaw looked down at the kit, and touched noses with her, "Hello," she mewed.
