D'ombre Accademy for Mutated Foals and Fillies

D'Ombre Accademy is a exclusive organization dedicated to the training and protection of foals and fillies who may not be accepted by average equine society. There are student representitives from a multitude of nations on our large and self-dependent campus, and we think of ourselves as a non-country bassed organization. Our goal is to create an enviornment where our highly diverse student body to thrive away from regular pony society.

The accademy is home to many odd and mysterious ponies. Secrets haunt it's halls. First year student, Lost Hope, has begun to suspect that the school isn't all it seems. With a strange assortment of friends and enemys, she searches to find out what the accademy is up to. There will be adorable young love, special hidden stories for those who look, and dar mysteries, and a lot of fangirl screaming from the author. Shipping is approved, and I'll probubly help... umm.... Oh, and a warning, there may be gay and lesbian pairn=ings that come up. I'll warn ya, though^^

Prologue 1: The Filly and the Queen

1) Students will refrain from dueling on campus without teacher suprevision.
2) Dangerous type students are not permitted to leave campus exept on organized break days and field trips.
3) Orders from the D'ombre headmare will be obeyed without questions.
4) All students will remain in their dormrooms after 9:00, with exeptions for nocturnal pupils.
5) Students may not leave grounds without permission from a member of staff.
6) Bounderies are placed in the surrounding village to prefent student wanderings.
7) Students correspondances may be monitered.
8) Don't die.

Lost Hope
Gender: Mare Year: first Oddity: Mutation of magic causes portals to a death dimension to open randomly. Dangerous type. Low skill level. Personality: Generally a sweet filly, with a big heart. She tends to be a well whatever sort, though she has issues around making friends. Theme song: Favorite food: Cake Favorite subject: English Other: My own design, for once^^


Graceful Doom
Gender: Mare Year: third Oddity: unknown, dangerous type. Rumors of several disappearances linked with her arrival at the school. Personality: She has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, but tends to come off as oddly graceful. She is not very personable, but is strangely popular. Gender: Mare Year: second Oddity: Talent related mutation. Her poetry occasionally influences events in her life. Personality: Haunted by depression, her poems tend to be dark and her sanity doubtful. Her outlook on life is highly blackened. Callimara
Gender: Mare Year: first Oddity: Physical mutation of wings, eyes, tongue, and antennae. Low-level telepath Personality: Nara is generally a sweet pony. She has a passion for fine art, though her insectoid eyes tend to warp colored and shapes. She is slightly shy, but has a caring though she has slight ADD tendencies. Theme song: Dreams Don’t Turn To Dust, Owl City Favorite food: any sweet liquid, such as maple syrup or honey. Cannot eat solid food. Favorite subject: Visual arts Other: My own design, again^^


StalicSOS
Gender: Mare Year: first Oddity: Geneticaly generated electronic feild arround body. With sufficient control can be fucused into winds. Weak bones have been replaced by robotic limbs. Personality: A boyish and energetic trikster. Stalic is the sort of poy who would rather die then follow anyones rules but her own. Generaly dislikes anypony who thinks they can mess with her friends, esspecialy Nara, who she was raised with, and tends to hold grudges for a long time. MirrorPetal
Gender: Mare Year: technicaly second, but she's lived at D'ombre most of her life. Oddity: Her right eye was mutated into a mirror of the soul with in a year of her birth. Anypony who looks into it will see the truth of their souls revealed. Mirror has low level phsychic powers connected to her eye, and can see general ideas about others souls. Personality: Mirror is a vain yet shy pony. She uses her mysterious tendancies to the max, tending to act more vauge and omipotent then she acctualy is. There are multiple rumores about her going arround the school, and oddly, she likes it that way. She doesn't hesitate to lie or fib her way out of a situation. Phantasm
Gender: mare Year: fist, though she's been a proud member of the first year class of D'ombre accademy for over 50 years. Oddity: She's a ghost. In life, she had a high level of paranormal detection ability. Personality: She has some serious memory problems, and often forgets that she's dead, and that she has been there for more then a year or two. She likes to chat, even when no one can hear or see her(another thing she forgets). When she remembers she attempts to make herself visible, with mediokre results. Gender: MareYear: seccond Oddity: While not neccisarialy a ghost, her phisical form is rather lacking. in most lights she appears like oil on water, a shifting swirl of hues in the shape of a pony. She also possesses telepathic and teleconetic skills. Personality: comes off as uncaring and rather cruel, but she's truly a softy. Theme Song: Favorite Food: Favorite subject: Other:


Sunfishy
Gender: Mare Year: First Oddity: The ability to shapeshift inro a coi fish. Personality: a diligent and optemistic mare, she's usualy found in the gardens near the ponds or in the biology lab. SHe's the type who always sees the glass as full, even if it's completely empty. It's pretty hard to hate her, because she's accidentaly adorable, butthere is also a rather abundant group of those who hate her cheerful guts. Kuraudobānā
Gender: Stallion Age: Over 1000 Oddity: Assorted elemental skills and partial immortality Personality: He's the quiet, doesn't really talk to kids figure with a tons of wisdom under his belt since he's so old. He likes to read books in his spare time and run through the sky taking care of clouds. Think of Chiron from the Percy Jackson series in a way. Theme song: Favorite food: Occupation: Librarian/Guard Other: Owned by Akayuri, and I’m using him with her permission

Gender: Mare Age: 111 Oddity: Mismatched wings, one angel, one devil. Partial immortality. Personality: Meian is a cold and calculating mare. Her sense of justice is strong and she has been rumored to decide weather a pony goes to heaven of hell. She does nothing without a reason, which makes her both highly respected and highly feared. Meian is only a title meaning “Light and Darkness” Her name is unknown.Theme song: Favorite food: Occupation: Teaches several assorted classes

Spinneret Belladona
Gender: Genderless Potato Age: Somewhere between 30 and 4,242,569,000,000,000 Oddity: It's a spider. What isn't odd...? Personality: A mirror of it's name. Spinner is the devious and maniacle genius behind many of Violette's scheames. To spinner, the world is mearly an intricate web, and with the right adjustments to it, shecan control and manipulate it. This doesn't need to be said, because it's cheesy, but nothing from spinner comes without strings attatched. Theme song: Favorite food: you don't want to know... Occupation:does not teah any specific classes, but occasionaly conducts classes for Dangerous Type students. Works as Viollettes eyes and ears and feet. Other: design by Heart Virus, a user whom I admire with all of my heart<3


Seraphim Belladona
Gender: Mare Age: 50 years younger then Webspinner. Oddity: Body created from parts of ther species, scaly body, paws, birds wings. Has a weak [hermone manipulation ability specific to feelings of love and obsession. Personality: scharmingly arrogant and snarky, and, while not quite as good s webspinner at comanding the world, is a manipulative lier. She can be highly childish and canot handle not getting her way.Theme song: one sec... Favorite food: the blood of some idiot who fell for her Occupation: teaches several courses on mythology, as well as playing nurse to Violette. Other: Another design by Heart Virus<3


Atropa Belladona
Gender: Mare Age: 10 years older then Seraphim Oddity: 8 legs. Some say that she has the power to determin how close one is to dieing, but this has not been confirmed. Personality: She is the most down to earth of her siblings. which isn't saying much. she possesses a rightious streak a mile wide aand often comes off as stormy and unpridicatble. She is rarely forgiving, and if she does act with sympathy, it probubly means you'll be dead in a month. Theme song: Favorite food: Occupation: conducts a dueling class for some odd reason, as well as a course on spellcasting. The tower in which the headmistress spent her existence, appeared more like an imprisoned princesses' lonely tower then a schools head office. The walls were fashioned of a dark and oddly shiny brick that flashed with menacing purple flames as the flickering light from the candles above brushed it’s surface. The arched windows were hung with heavy velvet somewhere between black and royal violet drapery. What furniture that sat pushed up against the cold stone was ornately carved with intricate swirls that, upon closer inspection, might have been depictions of some old legend, long forgotten but for the images captured in the golden wood. However, Shiftingmelody was too nervous to pay attention to details of the like. At the moment, her grey eyes were flitting between the floor and the dark silhouette sitting in the middle of the room. She took a step closer, wondering if she should announce her presence.
It was at that motion that her presence was acknowledged, though it had been noted previously. It was not the Headmistresses way to let any detail go unnoticed, though she had hoped that this new teacher would not insist on disturbing her privacy. “Miss Melody, I presume?” The voice was light and high. The voice of a child speaking the cold words of a hardhearted mare, “You have come to discus your new position, as was expected,” she sighed, almost noiselessly, her delicate silhouette had not shifted a single strand of it’s mane while it addressed the newcomer.
“Y-yes, that's me, I-I had hoped to speak to Mrs. D’ombre a-about that, i-if it isn't to much trouble for you to l-let her know that I wanted to t-talk...” Shiftingmelody’s voice was high and flute-like, though not the the childish extremes of the other. Her slight accent suggested that she was low class, and that she had traveled a ways to get to the academy. It was not a local Equestrian accent.
Her words stirred the silhouette, it turned it’s head to the light to glare at a startled Melody. Despite her small figure and young voice, the filly, as Melody had dubbed her, had eyes that seemed both ancient and cruel. “You’d like to speak to her head, you say? What an odd thing to do, telling the me you’d like to speak with her, seeing as you already are,” she tossed her mane impatiently, “anyways, I’m not a Mrs. That would imply that I was married.”
Melody had no idea what the correct response was. She decided to go with the simplest way out, “I-I’m sorry,” which was cut off by an icy glare.
“So, you’d like to speak to me?”
“Y-yes, I wanted to ask about a student in my class today. It... unnerved me...”
Violette D’ombre’s eyes shrank into slits, and Melody paused, then went on proctored by an irritated snort.
She glanced at the floor, ”Well, you see... I couldn't help noticing... you are aware of a Shadowfall Darksplinter, I am sure?” She waited for some affirmation, but, getting none, continued, “He... in my class today. You see, he... looked very... well, scared isn't the right word, but, anyways, he was terrified of something. I don’t know what, but, you see, he’s such a strong foal, always boasting and crushing stuff, I don’t know what could have done that to him! -and the way he was limping...” she faded out.
“You came to bother me about a frightened student? Why should I be concerned by something so insignificant?” Violette’s eyes darkened and she turned away from the mare. “Neither, I should think, should you be. One scared student has nothing to do with your job here.”
Melody nodded, sensing her dismissal, but as she walked towards the heavy door, she felt the impulse to put out the deeper part of her concern. “It wasn't only him. All of the Dangerous types of students, they were all looking frightened. And more than that, they come to class with injuries, bad ones, sometimes,” she cut of Viollette’s retort by continuing, “it’s been happening more frequently, you know, the injuries, and they won’t ever say anything. Some of them lie, but... I can tell. Something is wrong, and I wanted to tell you my suspicions,”
Violette is quiet until the teacher is partway through the door, “Do not inform anyone else of your suspicions. I must... reflect on them. Would it be... acceptable... to invite you for another meeting later? Come tonight, we shall meet in the parlor, and I would ask if you would not inform anypony else about our meetings. Understood?”
Melody did not respond, recognizing the rhetorical question, and instead closed the door, wondering why the head was so insistent that this be confidential.
