'the lady from the shop' clara mentioned might end up being rose. rose worked at a shop. And rose is also the most likely to have the Tardis' number. And it is conformed that rose will be back for the 50th so...... yeah
Very interesting theory... I totally agree, actually.
I'm really confused how this would work =P I mean Rose isn't a timelord, she doesn't regenerate, her memory (ought) to still be intact. I just don't see how Clara fits anywhere in with Rose =P Yes, Rose is likely to have to Tardis' number but didn't Clara say she got it from some woman? Maybe that was Rose not Clara? I don't know I'm just not seeing the connection or any possible way for that to make sense xp
Personally my guess is that Tennant will be back not as the tenth doctor but instead as the biological metacrisis that lives/ismarried to Rose. That way if (as it appears) Ecclestion does not agree/is not invited to come back they don't have to make up some excuse for that. As my own personal side rant I can really never understand how anyone can say one doctor/actor is better than the other =P I mean each doctor has such a completely unique personality I've never been able to compare them :3 I mean I thought 9 was brilliant and played The Doctor wonderfully. I really wish we could have had more episodes with him =P but then 10 came along and I absolutely loved his quirky grin and peculiar personality. Yes I was sad when 10 regenerated, I mean who wasn't? But I think that 11 is absolutely brilliant just as his predecessors were c: I love his almost childlike attitude and his various quirks and unusual attitude :3 Writers on the other hand I can definitely compare =P and while I absolutely love Moffat's overarching plots... he is getting absolutely terrible with writing episodes, case in point -> Bells of St. John x.x They always look so good and then just completely flop =P I really wish he would just do season plot lines and leave the episodes to others /=
^ Sorry for the huge block of text =P That kinda went longer than I expected haha
on a small side note though...
What's with The Great Intelligence popping up all the sudden? I mean two episodes with the same villain? That just seems kinda odd =P

The Wardrobe wrote:Zookrates wrote:Guyyys, mom said she had to know what all my Doctor Who fuzz is anout, and that she might watch an episode or two!
But I need help, what episodes should I show her?
I was thinking about The Girl In The Fireplace and/or an Elevenen episode.
Tips?
I've started everyone off with watching the Christmas Invasion and Blink. Everyone is hooked after that.

That's the wardrobe. Just in case anyone was wondering just HOW BIG it is

lol Yes, it's pretty big. xD
And yeah, I start them out with the Christmas ones as well.

I was quite disappointed with this episode. I agree with Oswin. on this. Moffat seems to be compiling a load of meager funny lines with hardly any plot. If you look at 'The Empty Child' and then look back at this episode, the newer is much less scary. Doctor Who is supposed to be rather scary, thats why I like it, but recently, its been loosing its charm and I think its turning into a more Sherlock-esque series, more thinking than frightening. I hope the rest of the series straightens out and ends up like the older episodes, because now its just a plotless mess and that saddens me.
;c
I agree, I denied it was pretty bad at first but the more you think about it the more messy it looks. But the next episodes Preview looks incredible. The Aliens look pretty scary, actually..
I still liked Moffat's little plays on innocent things and then turning them into something horrible, like the little child who took Clara's soul. Yeah. I'd love to see him write a paranormal movie, that would be worth watching.

She says it’s been so long
She can’t remember when
The mention of his name
Didn’t make her feel again
That anything is possible
And every day’s a brand new start
And love’s something powerful
When it finds a willing heart.
There’s a keeper for every flame.
There was someone in his past
That he hasn’t gotten over yet
Each day is like the last
He just misses what he can’t forget
It’s just an empty space
Where something used to be
Now he guards the gate,
but he’s lost the key
So no one enters, but no one leaves
There’s a keeper for every flame.

I totally agree with both of you... But I do like how Moffat's play on innocent things (like KikiPond said). But I also believe that right now it is hard for Moffat to go into a deeper plot when this previous episode, they were still building Clara and the Doctor's relationship.
I do hope they make them more scary and creepier Si-Fi. I also do wish they would travel more to other planets and deal with more aliens...
That was really cool!
