Yes... I just got A new rattie. After losing my older ones I could help but get a new rat, with two more on the way tomorrow. (They are so cute and worth the wait.)

I am in love with my new boy Cooper. I just luv him. He cuddles up to me and comes to him name. He is just amazing. He is a mild rescued rat as the person I got him off wasn't allowed pets and she was keeping him hidden but the apartment bock was doing a massive poison spray for rats so she didn't want Cooper getting hurt. So I have him and luv him.

Anyways my boys are about to kill me and eat me... They have been in the car for about 12 hours so far this week, with another 5-6 hour drive tomorrow. I feel so bad for my babies!

{Oh goodness, your poor ratters...and you, for that matter. Remy and Bowser went on a long trip with me for Christmas...it was a good twenty hour car ride. I know they hated being cooped up in the little carrier for so long, but they got some time out of the cage. Heh. Naughty exploring guys, they got to check out the whole car, and also our hotel room from inside their ball. You definitely have to keep them entertained, though, and now that I think about it, my boys actually did spend the majority of the ride sleeping.}
{Anyhow, Bowser and Elvis are doing very well. Elvis gets bigger every day, and he loves to play with Bowser- never mind that Bowser usually just gets his head pounced on xD They sure love each other, though. Bowser is just so patient with Elvis, most likely because Remy was the same way. Elvis could have been Remy's twin, they are so much alike.}

On the long trip this way, I got them out both times we stopped and let them run up and down my arms to stretch their legs. Today they were in their travel carrier from 8:45am to about 5:30pm because I was at a memorial for my great grandmother. Then they got to their big cage for about a hour or so while we went with my sister to the shooting range, then back in the carrier for about 45 min then now they are in my grandmothers laundry room in their cage.

Though I almost lost Baze today. I had my mom holding him while I grabbed Bug to put them both in the carrier, and he got scared, leapt from my moms hands, then I couldn't grab him before he took off down the back of the dryer. Luckily I have spent plenty of time bonding with them and picking them up in weird ways so I was able to calm him with my voice and reach above and behind him to pick him up.

Though my mom might be paying to have both my boys nails trimmed since she almost lost Baze. So I guess something semi-good came out of it...

Aww...the greeting I got from my babies when I got home yesterday. They came out on top or their cage and were teeth chattering and bounding around, so adorable, nearly cried, was so cute. I was only gone a week too. :3

I'm saving up to build c&c rat cage, will take a while though as they seem expensive and there is no-where to get the equipment where I live, plus I need to find the perfect sized grids, think finding the right size will be most difficult :/
