I just finished it and while the work on it when it comes to everything but the story is amazing... the story was confusing, lacked context, and it tried too hard to shove in as many references to other things as it could. It failed in the way Scott Pilgrim did; it spent so much time making references for the "in-crowd" (for Scott Pilgrim it's gamers, for Double Rainboom it's fans of Faust's past work) it failed to tell a streamlined continuous story. It got so caught up in detail that the big picture was lost.

Also a nitpick, I know there's the writer's law of "show don't tell" but sometimes "show AND tell works perfectly fine. Like the scene where Rainbow gets thrown to the Powerpuff Girls era had a lot of implications of time travel but a solid "dear Celestia I went back in time in animation" moment would've helped and wouldn't leave the viewers scratching their heads.

I'll write a full review of it.

Bam, full-length review.

It seems like Tumblr for the most part agrees on Double Rainboom being an amazing animation project, but spending too much time on references and in-jokes.

I agree almost fully with your review. It really dropped toward the second half.

Guys! Look what I found! These are coming to Build-A-Bear Workshop soon. My younger sister freaked when I brought her this flyer we got in the mail. She's 4, loves ponies & Build-A-Bear.
Pretty, $20 - 30 plushes, with clothes & everything. Rainbow Dash is super cute, except I'm not digging the wing fabric

XXXXXXx

Always look better in person, defiantly going to see if I want one at the stores. Accurate colors. Looks alright from what I can see

Wait no Fluttershy one or Twilight one.Man to bad though if I were to make one I would go for RainnbowDash.

Today is the last day to enter for the MLP:FiM themed Rhams! X) Click here to enter! The MLP themed Rhams can be found under "Special Events", but be sure to read ALL the rules before you enter. The mod of the thread told me to remind you guys that you can only use stuff (art, poetry, writing, etc.) that's your own - don't steal from someone else!

I have been waiting for those for at least a month now. X) And they're coming out sometime in April - but I just found that out today, thanks to this fanclub. :D

I absolutely love how these plushies are more accurate and normal-looking than the ones at Target...but did you SEE how much people think they're going to be? $24 dollars a piece?! Normal Build-A-Bears go from $10 to $15 dollars a piece. These ponies are going to be $10 more! X( Again, it may not seem like a lot to you guys, but...it's a little pricey for me, especially if the clothes are not included in that price - which they rarely are. (The clothes usually cost extra.)

OH MY WORD WE BOTH HAVE AMAZING SISTERS.

My entire family - except both sets of grandparents, cousins, and other extended family members - know that I'm a Brony, and most don't like that I am one. They think it's...weird. X) My brother is a Brony, and my sister used to be, but left the fandom after that one episode in Season 3 where Spike was just....singing stupid songs. *facehoof* Seriously, that was my least favorite episode out of the entire 3 seasons.

Anyway, long story short, she gave me my first blindbag for Easter! X) I now have a Princess Cadance blindbag, and she's one of the first ones released, to the best of my knowledge, because she resembles Princess Celestia more than anything else. X)

I really hope they sell those build-a-ponies in Canada... It's my birthday next week and me and my mom always go an a huge shopping spree and she said I could get one.

PLEASE BE IN CANADA PONIES.
