LavenderCloud padded next to LightHeart as they were traveling to the pond. " I bet there will be a lot of fish today! Looking forward she saw the stretching lake getting bigger every paw step. As they came there she saw all the kits radiating energy and excitement. They seem to be dying to become warriors. This let out a rumbling purr.

Stormpaw laughed happily as he leapt into the forest, he felt like he was a kit again, he inhaled the cold crisp air and felt a bolt of happiness through him. He raced ahead of the small group of cats.

"Doesn't he look like a big kit bouncing about like tha?"Lightheart said."o the days of being a kit,they were so fun."

SpeckleKit mewed " You may sense it splashing around in the pond. " She thought of hearing the fish flopping around, trying to get water to their gills. " It will be alright. I can warn you if I see one coming your way. " she purred.

"Thanks," Breezekit smiled, if he could see at least one time in his life, he thought he would surely choose now, walking through the forest.

"Here we are."Lightheart said stopping next to the lake.
"Now what you do is crouch down low making sure your shadow doesn't fall over the water"She demonstrated.
"You stretch your paw out slowly and sit still until the fish is as close to your paw as it can get"Lightheart demonstrated.
"And then you fling your paw in the water and hook the fish with your claws"Her paw disappeared and came back a second later with a wriggling fish between her claws.

SpeckleKit saw the lake and mewed " We're coming along the lake. Here, I can help you. " Putting her tail on his shoulder she guided him toward the shore of the lake. Squealing as the cold water rises she backed away landing on top of BreezeKit. She blushed and squeaked " Sorry. It was really cold. "
