The puppy felt himself being taken and crooned to sleep, and he closed his eyes but the bleeding didn't stop. It slowed down, but didn't stop. The day's memories filled his mind as dreams entered his mind. Suddenly a nightmare wandered into his dreams, uninvited, and he woke up, breathing very fast.

Atlantic pricked her ears, ice blue eyes daring. She stared at the nameless puppy.

Atlantic: The puppy nudged the other one, falling asleep next to him.

Ivory and Crystal protectivly curled around them.
