Some of you may remember Chibifurs from 2012. You may also know that in December of 2012, the site took a hiatus due to some collapsed code. During those three months, we decided that we were going to re-start Chibifurs properly as we had grown discontented with various things including art and code. We have been working diligently to get the site back together and we finally have a re-release date. Chibifurs will open back to the public on April 29th and the first set of pets will be released on May 1st. Unfortunately, during our down time, some of our staff member's lives have become a little hectic and were unable to stay with us. That being said, we are now seeking new members for our team.
Our hiring process is a little more complicated than most as we want to ensure that you are a proper fit for us. The first step in the process is to fill out the form below and post it to this thread. Please be sure to post the form properly and completely. We don't require fancy colors or things like that but we do ask that you take time and put true effort into your form. This is our very first impression of you, make it a good one. Please note that WIP forms are 100% acceptable so long as you finish it before the deadline of April 12th and post again in the thread with a link to your original post telling us that you're done.
We evaluate each form as it is completed. This is likely to happen several times a day (if we have the form to do it with) and you will be notified in thread if you have passed the first round. To those who do not pass, it is not because we don't think you're a good person, we just don't think you will be good fit with us as a staff member. This could be due to time restraints or a number of other things. Please do not be discouraged.
The second step in the process is to go through an interview. Interviews begin on April 13th and once you have been accepted into this phase, you will be PMed to take up one of our time slots as an appointment. Interviews are conducted in Chatzy so please check ahead of time that your computer can handle this site (chatzy.com). In the interview, you will have at least 1 admin in with you asking you the questions with the other two admins and any other existing staff members in watching on. The interview will dig a little deeper than your form and we will get to know you a little better as a person.
Once all interviews are completed, the administrative team will get together and make our decisions. This could very well take up until the release date but we hope that it won't. Please be patient with us.
(Please note that artists do not go through an interview and are dealt with by Mint Chip.)

(Please note that when you chose the moderation track OR the artist track, you are applying for all positions within that track. If you do not wish for a higher rank please tell us so on your form. For the sake of the interviews, AAs are in the moderation track)
Riley, page 4 wrote:You can not simply put down "Admin Assistant". That is considered part of the mod track for this search. You can tell us if you do NOT want a high position, but if you want to be an AA, you must also be considered for Mod and GH. I hope this clears things up a bit ^^
1 Admin Assistant
AAs are the right hand man to the Admins. They have many administrative capabilities and are a super mod, though they are counted as a mini admin and are not officially part of the moderation team.
3 Moderators
The backbone of the Mod team, Moderators deal with spam, rule breaking and other day to day upkeep of the site.
5 General Helpers
General Helpers are the happy go lucky folks that run around answering questions and helping the general public understand the site. They are often positive and fun individuals and deal with the public much more than any other position.
