ok so I'm writing this WWII story but I'm really nervous b/c I'll have to talk about war which I know nothing about I am a cushioned asian girl with a laptop how am I supposed to reenact this
If you're writing about people on the home front during the war, you should read the Molly series by American Girl. I know they're children's books, but they have really good information about life on the home front.
But if you're writing about life in Germany, READ
THE BOOK THIEF BECAUSE IT'S THE BEST BOOK EVER. Sorry for the caps lock abuse, but seriously even if you're not writing about Germany you should read it.
But if you're writing about soldiers in the war, sorry I can't help you because I don't know much about it

@Christine
haha how did you get an idea from Ikea?
one of the catalog pages was very melancholy to me, black and white. but it had kitty pictures!
the black and white part was what inspired me.
also, i like ikea meatballs.
Ikea meatballs taste good.
i like dragon capitalism a lot lmao

Ughhhhh.
Seriously.
I have six ideas swirling around in this brain of mine
SIX FRIGGIN' IDEAS.
And I want to wriiiite.
But I have only one week before school totally and completely consumes my life.
So I have to choose just one (or two) of these plots and come back to the others later.
So i've come up with this
brilliant idea to ask you guys which one/s I should write.
And um, here goes.
idea one: the crying eyes
This story follows the life of a girl in her late teens after her family dies in a car accident. For a long while, she is consumed by her sorrow, depression taking over her life, until one night (or really really early morning) she drags herself out of the house to shut up her noisy new neighbor. No one can ignore her bitter attitude, but he's the first to tolerate it. And when their lives continue to get tangled together, a bond is formed. But can their friendship (if that's even all it is) hold together when she only ever tries to tear it apart again?
idea two: ready or not
After learning that her parents are sending her to live with her sister, a shocked and rather unhappy Makayla finds herself put in an unfamiliar position - living in the city. A raised country girl, Makayla is displeased and confused by their decision, but complies with minimal resistance, not wanting to upset her mother or father.
A tale of forgotten exes, original cliches, restart buttons, and life unexpected.
(Lol I don't care if you want me to do this or not. I've already started it. xP)
idea three: cheer!
Valerie Price is a cheerleading coach for her town's high school. She's rough, she's tough, she doesn't take sh*t, and she knows how to hold herself up- and put others down. Valerie is pushing her students to the top, and she is set on winning nationals. When a cheeky and charming young man moves to town and stumbles upon this fiery woman, he is immediately intrigued. But Valerie only ever shoots his advances down, and feels no remorse for it either. Persistence is the key here, but is Lee willing to fight for her to the end? How much will it take to win her over?
idea four: cracked
For someone who can sing, it's a dream to be on American Idol. The same is true for ____ ___, who auditions in front of season thirteen's four judges. The decision wasn't unanimous, but she got through. She even made it to the top ten, but then things got a little tricky. Each contestant was given a mentor for the rest of the show, intended to guide them to the win, but when _____ is assigned the famous _____ _______ for her mentor, it becomes that much more necessary for her to concentrate on learning her songs and not on a very sexy, very distracting young man named ______.
(I seriously need names for this if I do it. u_u)
idea five: madness
A story about a girl who goes through what was meant to be an unforgettable experience- and that it is, but for all the wrong reasons. On the night of her high school graduation, things go awry for a certain dark-haired girl who never wanted any more attention than from her own mother, boyfriend, and little sister. But she attracts trouble like a magnet, and draws the attention of another young man who isn't everything he seems. But it was a little too late for Sam to understand, because the bite mark on the back of her neck is certainly only the beginning of her problems. Life has a way of setting you up for a real roller-coaster ride, and this one might just send Sam into madness.
idea six: race
Three people's lives are suddenly tossed into a whirlwind of events involving fitting rooms, stolen identity, and a little bit of scandalous behavior on the side. In the race to find themselves, they don't even realize that life is passing them by. With the help of each other, an unbreakable bond is born as they struggle through the race of life.
any that I don't do I might just make roleplays out of.
ooooooh
anyone wanna collaborate with me on any of these?
no?
okay I'll shut up now.

That was a day in my life. I know what your thinking, sounds normal, but you don't realise how bad my life really is,so I am going to try and tell you my story in 5,000 words...
Back Blurb
Ever since preschool I knew I was different. I didn't fit in, I never had the right toys, clothes or drew the right picture. I was always asking what happened when we died or why do people kill each other. While others girls were dreaming of being a princess, I was wondering when and how the world would end. Now I'm in High School now but nothing's changed. I'm still the weird kid, loner, nerd and geek. Everyone copies off me and sends mean notes my way. Even the weird kids think I'm a freak, but what they don't know is, they're right....I am a freak, but not on the way they think..
So what do you think?
