I love love love all these new horses! I was a little skeptical about the change at first, but so far, they've managed to improve upon nearly all of the old designs. I'm not a big fan of how the new 'pool ball' ponies look (a little too shiny for my taste), but the gummy ponys, the bird horses, and the drafts are really blowing me away!! Can't wait to see more!

nyah, I don't hate it but I was also pretty surprised. I really like the hand drawn style of the hearts, I just wish there were more of them, like in the original design X3

exactly. i can live with the linearts changing over but my favorite draft is messed up! it needs more hearts like it is supposed to have

Exactly!!! There is now a bare patch in the middle of the barrel and the hearts are just scattered lightly here and there where the old design was an all over uniform pattern. This used to be my favorite Draft design (the OCC in me liked the consistent pattern) but now... it looks like a pale comparison, like they just wanted to get it done fast and move on to another one.

The Purple Heart draft looks like it was originally made with a special brush, maybe? Maybe that's why the artists couldn't make all those heart over and over again :] I think it looks nice, clean. Not a true fan of that draft though so I can't speak for it. I do like how the hearts look hand drawn though, cute.

Same here, I'm really not fond of uniform, repeating patterns, especially on animal designs. It just doesn't flow right with something that's supposed to have 3-dimensional shape and makes it look like a flat sheet of horse-shaped paper.
So to me personally, the new version is much more attractive. x]

I put what I am responding to in bold.

Unless you have ever drawn, by hand, that many hearts, you would understand why Sorren might not have put a million of them on there.
Honestly I like the draft better now, less cluttered looking. <3

I prefer the new draft. The old one was so obviously made with some lazy photoshop brush. This one is a lot less busy and overall is just more eye pleasing ^^
