Sam finished setting up the jumps. She waited for Seth to finish warming up Ellie, watching the mare's beautiful graceful trot.

Nicole laughed at the horses behavior. "You liked that huh?" She teased him. She notices he had a few dirt marks on his pretty grey pelt. She looked at his name tag that read Frankie. "Okay Frankie, lets groom up up." She placed a halter on his head and placed him into the cross ties. She slowly began grooming him, trying to get rid of any dirty spots.

Seth patted her neck once she settled down. He brought her to a walk. "Ok what's the course?" He asked her. The jumps were set fairly high but it was nothing he or Ellie couldn't handle.

Frankie stood still while she put a head collar on him and walked next to her fine, no pulling or stopping. He relaxed on the cross ties and let her groom him, not bothered by it.

Sam began to explain the course, walking it as she spoke.

Nicole finished brushing him once he was sparkling clean "Oh you're such a good boy." She murmured, petting his neck. She glanced toward the tack room door. She really wanted to hop on and ride. She hoped no one would get mad at her if she did. She grabbed her tack and got him all ready.

Seth watched as Sam explained the course. He nodded his head once she was finished "Ok Ellie, lets show em what you got." He said with a smile. He urged her into a canter. Once she saw the first jump her ears perked up. She tried to rush but Seth kept her under control. She jumped the first fence super high but regained her footing and flew gracefully over the second. Ellie finshed the course, not even coming close to touching a rail. Seth stopped her and rubbed her foaming neck "Good girl!" He praised her, hugging her neck. He had a huge grin on his face.

Frankie stood like a getleman, he took his bit and then once everything was on he shook himself out to get everything comfy and fitting properly. He looke at the human with ears pricked, ready to work.

"That was really very good seth!" Sam praised, "I'm going to lower the fences a little, and I want you to jump it again with slightly more control, but overall it was a good round." Sam quickly lowered all 8 jumps.

Seth nodded and circled Ellie a few times so she settled down. Seth nodded at Sam "What can I say, she loves to jump." He laughed. He pointed Ellie toward the first jump and she took in easily. She finished the rest of the course with even striding and control. Every time she tried to rush Seth quickly corrected her.

Nicole laughed, she hopped on Frankie and headed toward the outdoor. She wanted to see the horses flatwork before anything. "Alright big guy, lets see what you got." She headed into the arena. She let him walk around first, just to let him see everything.

Frankie held his head a little high but that was because he was a show jumper. He had long lanky legs but he did seem graceful when he did flat work. He walked around and looked at a few things but not stopping, nothing he had never seen before.
