He's always looking around corners for someone to try to hurt him, some call that paranoid or insecure, but for him he's always kind of looked on the dark side of things, like the glass was half empty. Don't let that fool you though, he's definitely not depressed in the slightest. He's more determined and stubborn than anything.

L O N E R
It seems as if he's always been a bit of a loner and awkward around others. He doesn't have the best of social skills and sometimes prefers to be alone.

T H O U G H T F U L
He thinks every thing through before doing it, sometimes over thinking it. For him it seems as if his brain will never stop and he wishes it to sometimes. He also is pretty thoughtful on others feeling and their attitudes.

~If you don't mind I'd like to tell the story of how he fell in love, not his whole history. I can work some of his history into it but I really would love to share my idea to you~

Boom! Lightening cracked, and a tree burst into flame right before my very eyes, I squealed and just as I did thunder quickly over-ruled it. I quickly had a change of mood, from scared to absolutely ready. I cantered towards the other side of the swamp I was patrolling to keep those stupid greedy human away. Some of the more, well I call em' weak, Bayous go and help some of those things. I never understood it. "Saph! A tree is burning." I called to one of the others. (Random name. Not one in particular.) They sent a few out that way to see what they could do and if the rain was going to put it out or not.

I was going to go walking again. I had absolutely no more interest in it. I walked in the thunder, lightning, and darkness. It didn't bother me, I was one of the only ones who didn't mind. Most had nicknamed me lightening, especially since my markings looked like lightening. Others nicknamed me the loner. I didn't have a mate still, I didn't talk to anyone unless necessary, and my best friend had been scared into solitary when I was a teenager by humans. I really missed her, Aphrodite. We where super close and grew up with each other. I haven't seen her since I failed to protect her that day. I barely managed to scare the humans away after she took off.

I spend a lot of my time thinking about her, since I am apparently incapable of making new friends. After she was gone, no one would talk to me or tell me anything. It's like she was a charm or something. I guess she was though, She was always very pretty and sweet. I was always the grumpy one with the ragged mane that didn't grow at the same time as everyone else's. But when it did grow it grew fast.

As I walked I didn't notice that I had gone past the normal patrol route. I was so lost in thought that I never even knew I was almost at the edge of our swamp and on to the next. When I smelt a different scent other than swamp air I stopped abruptly. I took a few steps back and looked around. It was raining dark and I couldn't see much of anything.
