Rainstar yawned and stretched, his muscles slowly loosening as he climbed out of his nest in the leader's den. He padded out, bleary eyed, and sat down for a wash, casually observing camp.

Moonpaw huddled in her nest, her body a tiny ball as she tried to conserve body heat, huddled in her nest and reluctant to get up. Her blue eyes were tight shut and her pink nose was tucked under her tail warmly as she tried to fall back asleep.

Sunpool exited the warriors den, her eyes ajdusting to the sunlight. The deputy then scanned ouver the camp, seeing Rainstar had awoken. She trotted over. "Morning." She meowed with a bow.

Wolfsplash followed her sister out the warriors den. He watched her talk to Rainstar.

Rainstar nodded to Sunpool. "Morning. How're you?" he asked politely, meaning it. He liked it when his deputy was happy. It meant he could relax.
