Equine Transformation - Going ahead - please read for info!

Really now, these drafts are not even the same kind of horse. It doesn't line up either. It doesn't matter if something is drawn nice or not, if something is traced it is easy to see it. (the only thing they have in common is that they are standing and facing right.)

And the new drafts are deifinetly not.

Did anyone not read when I said I'M NOT SAYING THEY WERE TRACED, only that sometimes it's interesting to see that lines can match up with something is draw well enough. It was only an observation, nothing more and nothing less. I'm not saying that original artiest for the first horses weren't traced ether. I was only pointing out the similarity in an image.

I know what you're getting at, SquidGirl. There are similarities, yet it's completely different. Equi's images are traced, thus illegal to use. Yul's lines aren't traced and are completely legit. A lot of my artwork can be seen as traced as most of the lines do match up, yet none are traced (only traced things when I was a kid). Free-hand is so much different than tracing and Yul's an incredible artist.

Now ill be honest....i dont like this. At all. Now the artists seem to be doing good so far, but i have a feeling when they get to my favorites im going to hate the change with a burning passion. Not because there doing a bad job, but because im attatched to the old lines.

And yes, the anatomy may have been copyed, so what your telling me is that the person who took the picture of a horse now owns that pose and if anyone ever draws a pose like that, there infringing on the first photographers rights? Im sorry but theres only so many ways to draw a horse.im sure if i wanted i could find poses of our curent lines by photographers. Now im not saying copying is ok, what im saying is that its improbable to belive that theres no way a lineart isnt already in photograph form. Unless its quite cartoony.

But i wont rant to much. Sides, ive only been here 4yrs.....some of those where my first pets....but ah well.

I REALLY. Hope anyone who is planning to argue on tracing reads this S he ADMITTED to tracing whether it was an accident or not sorry if I sound dudes it's just kind of annoying I hope everyone will come to accept our new horses

Just a quick question:

I noticed that the post stated you will not be changing the Rainbow Mane's outline. I saw some equimagine horses being changed into newer updated horse lines. My sister was very upset about this and has already decided to quit CS and I would just like to know:

Are you already done changing the outlines out counting the zebras and unicorns or will you be changing all equimagine horses [out counting the Rainbow Mane] such as...

They're changing all of them. The RBM will have it's own lines though ^^
