Adonis stood as well, fixing her with piercing blue eyes. "What do YOU want to do?" He asked softly. "I want to get to know what you like -- not just what you do when Skippy and I are around." He swished his tail back and forth, black gem gleaming.

Medve looked over at him, looking at the ground. "I usually just sit at home," she said, with a shrug. "Listen to music all day," she said. "Or go swimming," she added.

"Then let's go swimming." Adonis replied with an assertive nod. He wished she would tell him what was going on so he wouldn't be stumbling, blind in the dark, and she wouldn't be so mopey. But swimming -- one of his favorite things to do, obviously -- would have to be a second best.

"Remember where all three of us - you, Skippy & me swam, do you want to swim there, or what?" Medve asked softly as she began to walk.

Adonis shrugged his shoulders, rolling them and flapping his wings a little as he settled into his stride, stretching out and letting out a little sigh of relief as his aching muscles began to relax. "It doesn't matter to me," He replied evenly, "Water is water."

"Okay, well, we'll just go there, then," she said, looking at the ground as she walked.

Adonis rushed to the side of the water as soon as he saw it, a child-like glee filling his eyes and making them bright once more. No matter how sorrowful he was, he could not disguise his delight at being able to swim once more. Gingerly, he reached out a paw to startle the calm surface, and found it subtly warm. With a chuckle, he waded in until the water was up around his chest, slight waves crashing against his legs. It was colder than he would have liked, but warm enough, and he swished his tail around to keep it warm, stirring up small waves.

Medve just put her back paws in the water, looking into it. "Only if Skippy was here to make it a hot tub," she smiled thinking about how silly Skippy was, and laughed a little bit.

The thought of Skippy warming the water for them with his bright red jewel made Adonis smirk in amusement as he dipped swiftly beneath the water and popped back up again, sputtering slightly when he got a mouthful of water. Grinning, he playfully batted at the surface with a paw, splashing little droplets toward Medve. "Come on, get in here!" He teased, flicking his tail above the water.

Medve looked down at Adonis, rolling her eyes playfully. "How about no?" she said, with a little laugh as she got into the water.
