What is a Gingersnap Dog?
Gingersnap Dogs, or GDs, are agile, long tailed dogs with fluffy, furry ears. They mostly live in the wild, found in the mountains, but have also been tamed and make great pets. They love to cuddle, and they love to curl up in warm and cozy spots, in front of a fireplace, for example. But they also have lots of energy, and like to run around and play, especially outside. Their fur is very soft, and they make lovely snuggling companions. They are mostly German shepherd dog and golden retriever sized. They have tufts of fur on there front legs and back, and males have longer and thicker tufts then females. They almost always have spots or stripes, and ones with unnatural base coats are rare, but they can have unnatural markings

GD adoptions now back up and running
After another trip into the mountains, finding a few more unnatural colored GDs and bringing them back with me, we are now back up and running! New GDs will be for adoption soon! Also, I may soon start a GD training class (a GD training RP) as I have been reminded recently that my GD Latte needs some training- he may be an excellent tracker, but is a major escape artist!
One of the GDs I brought back from the mountains with me had been injured, and one of her paws had to be amputated, and though she is doing very well now, whoever adopts her will need to give her special care. She and the others will be up for adoption very soon

Any GDs not wanted by their owners anymore, or were never adopted, will be placed here. To try and adopt one just fill out the form for it. Each form will be located next to the GD. The numbers on the form let me know which GD you are trying for. The numbers do not go by order of the GDs in the pound, such as #1, #2, #3, and so on, but go by the number of the actual GD. Make sure you are trying for the correct GD. Pound GD adoptions will be quick, some will even be FCFS. Please note you can only try for one pound GD at a time.
The pound is currently Closed
