Hi there!
Welcome to the Gem Winged Canines (GWC) forest!
I am the owner of these guys and i want to show you around a bit. I think it would be helpful of me to give you an index eh?
Well then.. look at the bottom right corner of every post, thats where you can find it ^^
So, now that I have introduced myself, I think its time I introduce you to something else.
The rules, yea, I know you hate reading them, believe me I do myself, but read them, I will
enforce them. You break a rule, you get a warning, if you break another rule within a month, then guess what? its a strike
then again within a month then another strike, same with a third strike, guess what happens then? a ban. so bottom line, read... and obey.


<1> Do not break any cs,tess,nick,GWC, or any other rules.
<2> Do not try to bribe an artist, that gives a strike, skip the warning.
<3> Do not copy GWC's... that results in an immediate ban.. don't try it -_-
<4> You may try for however many GWC's as you want, but please, don't try for more then like... 6 max. Its feels like you just want to have one. If you fill your last slot you have to drop out of all other contests.
<5> Listen to the mods,if you try to correct them, and you are incorrect by the rules or me, or even attempt to start an argument, thats a strike, not a warning, a strike.
<6> Do NOT.. I repeat DO NOT start any type of rigt or conversation that will anger anyone, or anything. This will get you a warning or strike depending on what unfolded. If you aren't sure about a question because it may start something... then simply pm myself or one of my co-owner minions ouo.
<7> Remember, you GWC's cannot talk except on a role-play if one is currently being held
<8> Pm either myself, Froggyluv28, or Fail In Love if you have any questions about anything.
<9> You may own 4 GWC's, and thats it, I made it an even number for fellow O.C.D people.
<10> If you have 3 GWC's, and you are trying for one, and another comes along that you simply love, you may try so long as the end dates are different, if you win the first one, you may not continue to try for the second one.
<11> If you think that a staff member is abusing their powers, please notify me, for this is a matter I would like to personally deal with.


If you want to adopt a GWC just click on it, see if it is still up for adoption and if not complete any requirements that the artist has set for you. Its really not always that hard, but sometimes it is, these requirements are simply to see how dedicated you will be to the GWC, some might require you to make art, some to make sure you role-play and make art of it, and artists have every right to remove any GWC from you if you choose not to care for it.

You can check out the different specific staff member like artists, mods,
co-owners, and anything else!
If your luck and you see an opening for a job, then go ahead!
Apply for it an we wish you luck!
In the end though, please remember, everyone wants the job, but few get it.
If you complain in any way its a warning.

These people have the duties of running the place, and keeping it sturdy. They are also every other job possible for the species. We wear the big pants around here.

These people are in charge of making adoptable Gem Winged Canines for everyone to adopt and love. They may also make customs for themselves and close friends. Please don't talk to them or bribe them for a custom. Customs for others are to be made with an owners permission.

These people are in charge of taking care of all of the problems in the community. If there is a question, they may answer it. If there is a major issue, they may help solve the problem, but they may only hand out a warning or a first strike. They may not do anything further unless they have a star near their name meaning they are a head mod.



Currently there are no openings to be filled. I am personally talking to a few friends to fill in some spots.

Just cause we're staff doesn't mean a free pass!
All staff members have the normal rules, the rules about to be stated, and their duties to follow!
That's sure a lot! but we do it all for the community!
He are the rules we staff are to always follow!



<1> All staff members can and WILL be taken from their duties if they step out of line.
<2> Don't ask to be a co-owner, there will be no more unless we co-owners all agree, and I don't think we'll consider anyone really.
<3> Don't pretend you are boss of everyone. You are just another person, but with more duties, and a few perks for the extra work.
<4> Artists are allowed 1 custom made by themselves or another artist. You may make customs for friends, but not if you are paid, or bribed. And you must ask me first.
<5> Please do your duties, or you may be warned/ask to step it up or to leave.
<6> If you would no longer like your duties, please pm one of us, and let us know you will be leaving. We'll miss you, but respect your decision.
<7> Artists may make 2 GWC's max a day unless you contact an owner and receive permission.
<8> co-owners get 2 extra slots, and artists get one. Please don't complain about this, or you'll get a half strike. You never know when in the future the slots may change, or we do something special for you non-staff peeps ^^
<9> Mods get 1 extra re-vamp for three of their GWC's. ^^ like, if something big happens and I allow a re-vamp for some reason for everyone or for staff... then mods get their extras, not included. There are only three though all together ^^.
<10> If you are re-moved from staff, you extra something is removed as well.

This is where we keep track of all warnings, bans, and strikes. It helps us when dealing with problems, and it helps you so you know where you stand in the whole mess.

Just a reminder while we are here...
If you break a rule you get a warning. If you break another or the same rule within a month you get a strike.
If you do again within a month (not the same month) then you get another strike.
Same goes for the third strike, and if you get three strikes, you're out.
Now. After a month, one thing gets lifted. If you have... say 1 strike, then after a month you are
wiped down to a warning, then after another month, you're on a clean record again
If you are a constant or serious problem, you will get banned, and we wont have mercy on you with
the three strikes you're out system.

Do ya have a question? well... hopefully we can answer it here!
This is where we put questions we think should be answered, and questions we think of ourselves!


How many GWC's can we have?
The rules state that there is a limit of 4 GWC's that you may have.
In the future, if we become popular, there is a slight chance of this going up.

What happens if we get banned?
Hopefully you wont get banned, but if you do, then you aren't allowed to post or
participate in anything to do with GWC's. you cannot be un-banned, and you shouldn't
get banned if you follow rules and care about keeping the community whole ^^
You may not keep your GWC's. You may have earned them, but you also did a whole
lot of bad to get out of the community. So they will be re-adopted out.
