Shimmer looked at Ashley and shrugged her shoulder. The stentch of urine was burning Shimmer's nose so she took a long roll in a mud puddle, all the while smiling. She suddenly heard something banging on the fence so she walked over to the opening, smelt the air surrounding the hole in the board, and said, "Who's there?"

Cleo asked the 'House Dog'/Shimmer, "Who are you, first of all?" Cleo stood up, being taller than she looked. Cleo picked up her 10 day old steak, and started tearing it and eating it. "Wait, is someone else there, also?!" Cleo said, looking through the hole.
Ashley
"Hi! I am Ashley! But you can call me Ash!" Ashley said, pushing Shimmer out of the way of the hole, then looked through it. "What are you, I mean, who are you?" Ashley looked at the ground, knowing her mistake. "Sorry, I know what you are, a stray? I mean, a stray!" Ashley said, more boldly.

Shimmer growled in a frusterated manner at Ashley. (how could Ashley push Shimmer out of the way anyhow, shimmer weighs like, 90 pounds. after all she is a 3 year old german shepard.)

"Cleo jumped at the fence, making Ashley jump. Cleo laughed really hard, she got back up, and asked again, "Who are you!?" She looked straight at Shimmer. Cleo started to walk away, with no reply.

Ashley
"Where are you going!" Ashley yelped. Ashley thought the stray could help them out of the backyard. All of a sudden, Ashley jumped as the fence moved, again. "There you are!" She yipped, jumping up and down, going in and out of a play position. "I am Ashley, and this is..." She trailed off, as she never knew Shimmer's name. "Well, I am Ashley," she repeated, again.

Shimmer got back up, shook herself, walked back up to the fence and said, "Shimmer...that's my name." She looked through the hole at the other dog. "Are you trapped in one of these things called 'backyards' too?" she asked.

"Yeah right! Like you wish!" Cleo said, laughing a little, "Well, I am Cleo. You know, I always keep a promise. My name, I promised, in my head, I would tell you..." Cleo trailed off, knowing she probably shouldn't tell too much to a 'house Pet'. "Do you live with them? You don't look like you do, but that pup does..." again, she trailed off, like she sometimes does. Cleo looked at the pup, "How old are you?" Cleo said, unexpectedly.

Ashley
"I am 2 months!" Ashley yipped excitedly. She started to run around the whole backyard. Running, and eventually, grabbing a piece of grass, the keep running, and eating the grass.

"I'm not with her, their human just snatched me up several minutes ago when I wasn't the least bit prepared, and I'm busting outta this dump." Shimmer whispered to Cleo while Ashley was prancing across the yard. "Wanna escape with me?" she added in a neutral tone.

Charlie padded down a dark, damp alley, sniffing the air for any more scraps. After half an hour of searching, the best thing he found was bone that had been thrown out. He padded through the allies, the bone in his mouth. The german shepherd soon found a shady part of the streets and lay down. Chewing on the bone, he managed to amuse himself for a while before his hunger would come back to haunt him.

Ariel sat down in the backyard with her rubber bone. She had spent most of her time chewing it and chasing after it when her owner threw it. But now she was bored and looking for something to do. She padde around the perimeter of the backyard, sniffing the fences. She wondered if there was any dogs on the other side of the white fence. She often wondered this, since she had never been outside the backyard, she would sit down next to the fence and bark, hoping someboyd would answer. This she did and with her ears pricked up, she waited for a reply.

Lock grinned happy as her tail wagged, this was more easier then she thought. Lock stood up and pointed her muzzle toward the darkerside of town.
"Thats sound wonderful, im sure you'll love what we do around here," she said as she started trotting off, but stopping to wait for Caboo.

[size=85]Cadoo followed after Lock taking in all the sights and smells. "Its HUGE out here Lock!" she exclaimed. Her nose dropped to the ground as she sniffed around. "Ya know this is only my second time out of my yard? The other time was to go to the vet!" she said scrunching up her face. "Anyway where are we going first Lock?" she asked very curious as to what was going to happen today. "We can go anywhere as long as I am back in the yard by Noon!" she explained.

"Wait, me? I can help you escape. But I ain't escaping," Cleo said, walking back and forth, next to the fence. "Well, I could dig, enough for you to fit through. Yeah, I am a good digger. Want me to start digging right now?" Cleo asked, starting to dig under the fence, pretty fast.

Ashley
Ashley came back to the fence, and saw Cleo digging a hole. "What are you doing, Cloe?" Ashley asked, normally. Ashley, then, started to dig. "This is so fun! Where did you learn to do this!?" Ashley asked, jumping around, running into Shimmer. "Oh, sorry, what's your face..." Ashley trailed off, forgetting Shimmer's name.
