I have a question...
If a pet doesn't get re-released, eg: pets from the past few months, why does it sometimes go down in rarity? o.o

Theoretically, the new system automatically flags inactive users so their pets aren't counted. It's possible that a large number of people who did not own the pet have stopped playing, putting more pets into circulation by taking out others but I have yet to see it happen.

Well, I've seen the a recent cat (The stormy one on the previous page), and a few older pets turn from Uncommon to Common, or that Camo dog from VR to Rare, which I doubt had anything to do with the new rarity system or rereleases because it changed in between those "events".

These bats were very rare before the big update, when they went rare. Does anyone foresee them going back up soon?

I thought that at first too, but quite a lot of people seemed to have either missed the brown chick or only got one. At least from what I've seen.

They're actually kinda hard for me to find.

Most recent pets are OMG so common or Very Common, it is pretty rare that a pet nowadays turns instantly common or even uncommon.

I have a feeling that first Strawberry dog is going to be rare very soon. She's always been the most elusive of that litter.

As for the rest, the 3 tailed Gasflame dog might go soon as well. As for the Blue Leaf dog, I could never figure out if he or the Black flop eared outcome was actually rarer. I know they're both pretty hard to find though so, maybe...
