Or will the old ones be modified to fit new lines?
Thank you got your time!
The new ones are being modified (the cat costume and saddle/bridle are already done), and there will probably be more horse items released in the future :)

ok my question is how is it copying art when the line art is based off of a photograph? last time i checked snapping a pic and then doing a line art wasnt art copying. i have plenty of drawing that i did myself growing up where i used a pic that i had or found or took myself and drew the horse in that position. now i can see it being art copying if the lineart was originally someone elses and then was copyed down and claimed to be the copiers work. i just think this is ridiculous. claiming that if someone draws a lineart from a photograph is art copying. thats just stupid and silly. looks like you cant draw anything these days without someone claiming its art copying.
My birthday is Oct 12th woo!
*~I'm trying to obtain a complete CS pet collection any help is greatly appreciated. <3~*

This has been discussed in the thread -- but in case search isn't working XD It's quite different if you use a photograph you took YOURSELF and did YOUR OWN drawing. At least, you have your very own "permission". Tracing from a photograph by SOMEONE ELSE, however, can be potentially harmful to you -- one, you do not know if the photographer is selling that picture and hopes to profit from it, therefore you potentially "steal" what is rightfully his to profit from.
The problem was, the photographer's permission was never given when those lines were traced, so it would be unwise to use traced lineart.
when first i appear i seem mysterious
but when explained i'm nothing serious{ characters · art shop }

There is a difference between using a photograph as a reference and laying tracing paper down and copying the exact image. The first is acceptable because it won't be an exact replica, but the second is not acceptable because nothing about the picture is your own hard work. It is just an exact copy of the photograph. That is why the linearts need to be changed, because when you put the CS pet over the top of the photograph, you can see that the pet's lineart is almost an exact copy.
OOPS, ninja'd.
