Her parents were both killed by her evil aunt, Redd. her aunt was very angry and jealous and when her and attack to WonderlandQueen Genevieve had no other choice but to have her bodyguard the Hatter to flee with her daughter Alyss, the Princess. She posses the great power of imagination, but hers is stronger than other wonderlandians, however he slowly loses her power of imagination with more and more time spent on earth. she starts to question even her own sanity, as nobody believes her fantastic tales of wonderland. Forced to be a street begger, then an orphan then an Orphanage. she is later adopted by the Liddel family however, they do not believe her and forbid her of talking about Wonderland. So far is a very interesting book, especially for someone who read Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. And I enjoy reading it, but I am not done, though only about halfway through.
Great choice I enjoyed them a lot! I only have the first two but I think its a trilogy now. The idea behind reminds me a lot of Wicked. (Which is very confusing, I read it 5 times and I still don't get it!)
Just wondering, has anyone read a book in a foreign language? Im on my last day of a french exchange and I bought the last leopard by lauren st john in French, its for younger kids so hopefully the language will be simpler and also my sister has the original english version, so if I dont understand something I can look it up in that one!! My friend got the host by the twilight author, so thats going to be a lot harder/easier to read!
