Eli stood up and started walking down the shoreline. The water felt super cool on his feet. It was an advantage in the summer heat. Eli shielded his eyes once he got a chance to look at the horizon. He could distinctly feel a sunburn coming. He caught a few gazes from a group of girls nearby. Eli was tempted to go over and say hi, but he fought the urge. He took a few seconds to admire the sky. It was a perfect day to spend outside. Maybe he could go surfing later. After a few minutes, he turned around and starting walking back the way he came from.
