I groaned, coughing up a thick amount of water before placing a hand on my chest, breathing hard and deep, my wings spread out around me. I glanced up, seeing Ava bristled and padding away. "What's...wrong?" I asked, breathing hard between each word.

I closed my eyes, swallowing against the massive pain that was rising in my entire body. I moaned slightly, now able to move my arm. It went directly to my head, my legs pushing me onto my back, my arm covering my eyes. "Oh my God," I whispered, my voice agonized. "What the hell happened?"

Alice turned around and put her hands on her hips, "You messed with a fellow Angel while two others were there. Not smart." She said coldly. Though Shifters aren't very smart anyways. She thought.

I growled at her hostile tone. "What the hell are you talking about? The only angel I know is Damon, and I'd never hurt him." She groaned again, cutting herself off and rubbing her temples tenderly.

'Some are, some aren't. I wouldn't underestimate them.' Adam shrugged slightly as he shoved his hands into his pockets. "You attacked Damon and was thrown against this tree. It seemed as though you were paralyzed or something for a little while."

"You wouldn't hurt him? Well being a giant fat tiger, and jumping on him while he's in the water, almost drowning him, apparently isn't hurting him!" Alice growled back.

I shot up, cursing out loud at the fierce pain that attacked my brain in the motion. "Oh, sh**," I muttered, my eyes wide open. I looked over at Damon, who was busy trying to talk to another shifter through the water in his lungs. "Oh sh**," I said again, burying my head in my hands.

Alice rolled her eyes she looked at Damon. She walked over to him, "Lay on your back, you've got water in your lungs still. I can hear it when you speak." She said sitting beside him.

Ava leapt up into a tree, Alice and Adam's actions replaying in her mind, torturing her. Your weak Ava, letting him get to you.... She growled to herself.

I coughed again, then complied, rolling over onto my back and trying to take deep breaths, my eyes closing. "Not...her...fault," I managed, my eyelids blinking slightly before I looked up at Alice. "She...can't...help it."

"She should try." Alice said harshly. She then sighed, the placed her hands on Damon's chest, she looked at him, "This might hurt a bit." She said softly. Shee pressed hard on his chest/lungs, trying to make him spit it up.
