I... I am a Legolas Fangirl... Me and my best friend were running around like idiots the other day thinking about how it would be so awesome if the LoTR cast came to our state. We get them to sign everything (Legolas first) most likely our bows...

I couldn't really call myself a fangirl of any LOTR characters yet since I'm new to it, but as I become more familiar with it, I'm sure I'll start feeling closer to some of the characters.

I was just thinking of this, but I used to be totally IN LOVE with the Harry Potter series until I found Tolkien. I mean, Harry Potter is a wonderful series, but there was a.... certain magic about LotR that was different, if "magic" is the right thing to say. It pulled me in, and made me want to never leave. Harry just didn't do the same. I think Tolkien just has this special enchantment about his works that one does not simply "not love".

Sorry about that, but I just felt I needed to say something.

Lots of editing and photoshopping on the computer probably. The guy who played Bilbo is actually rather short though, lol.

And think about it, how'd they get the goblins and orcs, along with wargs, sense they aren't real? Computer animations, as always. xD

Ah! Here i can actually answer that! I watch a lot of behind the scenes stuff and a lot of the blogs they've been posting recently. So they have their actors, all of them are relatively average height, if not taller(and in some cases a bit shorter.). And then they have size doubles. So.. how i assume they do it is have the actors to their scenes and such, then have the size doubles come in and make the same movements and such, then computer edit the stuff..

But only in the parts with taller un-hobbit or dwarf people around.
