Oh my gosh; I would love to go to a Vocaloid concert. ;w; ... And I would totally freak out if a certain super-famous fanmade or two made a special appearance. It HAS happened once... during an unofficial concert. [That concert didn't sound like something I'd enjoy all that much otherwise, though. n.n;] I wonder if it'll ever happen in an official concert...

Well well I'm confused. I DO NOT want to set my computer's locale to Japanese, so I just tried installing UTAU but....I swear I hit the correct buttons and it will not install. At all. Hmm well I did see that when I hit "next" the button to the right in the installer it would bring me to another window which listed where the program would be saved... I clicked the right button again, and then one more time. I just brings me back to where OMG I THINK ITS LOADING NOW WELL 100TH TIME THE CHARM OMG

OH SHIII LSDFKJ ok my hands are shaking. I just uninstalled it out of fear. I did that as a precaution. When I tried to install the English patch from the UTAU wiki the website gave me an error saying it couldn't connect. Immediately after that Trend pops up saying that it had removed some security threats. I resolved, the other 2 not. May had just been that site(lol there goes English) but I had a panic attack. I just checked. All 3 were Trojans ;A;;;;; Um the 2 blocked that said "acess denied" hopefully it means that it tried to download but Trend blocked it, and the 1 resolved maybe it downloaded but Trend deleted it before it could take effect. Damn that was a scare.

I know there are 2 links listed on the page....but I swore I clicked the second....I can't know now since I immediately erased my history.

No no, when I got the warning I think it was the English patch. I believe the UTAU program was fine...but I panicked.

But I may had clicked the wrong link after all on the UTAU wiki.

Ah, I see!
But I thought the english patch was a .zip file? That you put into the UTAU program files in the folder called 'res' or something?
(because I have UTAU but its been a long time since I've done an installation...)

Yes yes, but it wouldn't load the site(?) to where the zip file was located to be downloaded? Or like I said, I may had actually clicked the link to the Utaforum....but that's very weird that I supposedly got a few trojans from doing that.

But which version of UTAU do you have? (I'm guessing somewhere above 2.49?)

Actually....I believe the one that did download correctly was v0.276. When I decide to re-install sometime, I may try the latest version. Besides, the older one, it took like forever for it to work...BUT it did install which is odd but anyway.
