Xanatia returned her friend's crushing hug. From behind the pillar in the hall outside the ball room, Xanatia could see the gathering crowd. "Oh, I'm just so..." she trailed off, unable to find the right words. "It's like Deirdra has filled me with her sun rays and their bursting out of my heart."

Alexander sits in his room not sure he really wants to go to the ball, but reluctantly he goes to wait outside the doors of the ballroom.

Nicole [Danielle] and Rebecca [Adara] soon reached the doors. Rebecca actually looked excited for once while Nicole laughed at her.

" Gavin" slipped away from the castle grounds to a secluded pond a ways away. She washed herself clean to reveal dark blue tresses, normally made ashen with soot which now shone in the starlight. Her hair was barley long enough in the front to braid oping the side of her head in a simple yet intriguing style. She had attempted to mimic a slight elvan style.
