Okay. My head canon reason why Denmark likes hugs so much. So Denmark is old. D: So he can't remember his childhood too well. But one of the earliest things he can remember is hugs from his caretaker. He forgot who they were, but all he remembers was a lot of hugs when he was sad and the death of the caretaker. A while like when he was a teen or something, he found and met Norway and the first thing he did was hug him. He really liked Norway's hugs as they were warm and soft and stuff and they reminded him of his childhood. He likes any hug really, but he likes Norway's the best. They bring him back to his childhood and the day he found Norway.

Denmark tried to claim the north pole as well... Dang it. T^T
