One thing I find really interesting about Meiko [her V1, anyway; I'm not sure if her V3 will be the same way] is how she can sound COMPLETELY different from one song to the next.

Welcome XD I think it just depends on the tuner really. I've heard both Kaito and Meiko sound in many different ways. However for instance, V3 Kaito, I've heard a bit of variation in each VB, but not as many as in V1. This could be due to the fact that it's new and most of the producers that are used to V1 are struggling to adjust to the change. V3 even handles differently(both the banks and engine). It'll take more time before they master it and create unique configurations(come on Shinjou!). Anyway I believe he's plenty flexible in V3(the ranges for each is a recommendation, I don't believe it is the maximum output). People just need to get used to everything. Simple as that. The same may be for V3 Meiko.

Whoa whoa whoa; fight...? What...? Where...? DDD: Who got into a fight...? I really don't like fights over what characters are "good"... And I'm not just talking about "which voicebank sounds better" fights, either. I've seen people on a wiki comment on Haku's page saying that she was their favorite character [not saying anything wrong or disrespectful; just stating that they were fans], only to get torn apart by haters practically every single time... Heck, I've even seen them tear apart a completely innocent 11 year old fan. ;m; It made me so sad and angry when I saw that...

Yeah it was really weird. Of course it was a few years ago but I think I kinda remember how it played out. I was on this site(which overtime went very downhill mind you) the site that's not to be named.... no I will say it. FOOPETS and this one member made a thread on Vocaloid. I remember they described it as a "computer game". I think that is the main reason that they got flamed. Now that I know more of what Vocaloid is, I do know it's not a "game" so I kind of understand why some may had gotten upset. But how the other members tried to deal with this situation was unacceptable. I remember I wound up trying to defend the OP because I of course did not like how they were treating them. Actually the OP wanted to quit because of all the hell they got from everyone. Anyway I can barely remember what their username was and what I do remember, I don't think they're on CS or if they are, they may had changed their username(like me). Aw I still kinda wish to at least thank them for mentioning Vocaloid as the name did pop into the back of my mind in 2011. Ackk long explanation.

Aww, that sounds really bad. ;n; I hate the internet sometimes; people can be so judgmental and snarky and just downright rude. The OP could have just been new to the fandom... [This fandom can be really confusing at first. xD I remember being pretty confused when I was new to it, myself.] BUT NOOOOOO. People automatically start flaming them over it. I actually think they find yelling at people and giving them a hard time fun. Losers.

Ah I dunno how new they were or not but yeah. I agree the older members of the fandom should know better not to yell at the newer fans. I can kinda see how it can be really frustrating to talk to some new ones(you correct something that they had wrong and then they continue to spread their false information because they think you're wrong and they're right orz). Still, you should respond in a calmer manner. If they don't thank you for correcting them and keep the information you gave them, then just let them do whatever they want. It's not worth trying to continue to correct them if they won't listen >.<

And yes I will confirm this, there are some fans in the fandom that like to attack others and find joy in doing so. This fandom is really big, so ya know we gotta have a few rotten apples in there.

Yes, I know how hard it can be to talk to people with little-to-no Vocaloid experience already. xD So many things to explain... But it's not impossible. As long as the person is open-minded and willing to listen, of course...

Yep, I know that for sure. Like those people I mentioned that kept tearing apart every Haku fan they saw... I don't think I saw a single fan's post go unnoticed by them. .__. I was seeing so much hate and stuff that I decided a while back to just stop reading the comments on that page... It was so upsetting. And people were getting nasty...

I like Miku, she has some good songs. As for voice, I prefer MEIKO or Luka.
