I never found a post explaining why this is called chicken smoothie, and not Avian milkshake or Totoro Pudding... but now it makes a bit more sense : )

The FAQ says chickensmoothie used to be Tess' username, and she just changed it to that to get rid of the old site name, I believe. I always loved that it had nothing to do with the content, made it more amusing to me.

I'm a bit sad because while I like chickens, I don't like the pet design... It just bugs me somehow. Oh well, can't win them all. ^-^

I am extremely happy to see that these cuties turned out to be chickens, and such adorable ones at that! I have been a pretty big chicken nut since I got my pet rooster, and seeing chickens on Chicken Smoothie definitely just made my day. My boyfriend was always asking me why there were no chickens on this site and saying how it was needed, and I am sure he will be just as happy as I am when he sees these cuties. <3 I am still secretly wishing for roosters, though. I won't be disappointed if we only get hens, but having the gender distinction like with the lions would be pretty neat. ^^
