Welcome to the Annual Chicken Smoothie National Horse Art Role Playing Games Competition! Or just ACSNHARPGC.
Here, once a year (every March and November), all the HARPGs (Horse Art Role Playing Games) meet in a huge competition. Five riders from each stable (the owner of the stable included) may participate. If a HARPG is still growing (i.e. new), you may have 3 riders (owner included), at the least. If you get more riders later on during the competition, you may add them to your stable's representatives. The owner of the stable, who must compete, will choose the four rider that will represent their stable in the competitions. Each rider may bring one horse per competition that that rider enters. The HARPG that wins will be awarded the "Most Accomplished HARPG of the Year" trophy until the next ACSNHARPGC.
The ACSNHARPGC is not one competition (i.e. show jumping or dressage), but a huge gathering with all sorts of competitions. Each competition is an art competition. However, some competitions will require a little extra something. One rider from each stable can partake in a competition (i.e. only one rider from each stable will compete in show jumping, only one rider from each stable will compete in dressage, etc.). Each win counts towards that rider's stable's points.
Now, remember, this is a friendly competition. No one is out for blood, okay? JUST FUN.
Each rider can only represent one stable. So if a rider is in two different HARPGs, they must decide which one they would rather represent. If an owner of a stable is also a member of another HARPG, they must either represent their stable or pull their stable out of the competitions and represent the other stable. Many tough choices - but we simply can't have one rider represent multiple stables.
Not every HARPG has to compete. If the owner doesn't want to, their HARPG doesn't have to participate.
Most competitions will require riders and tack. However, some, such as halter, do not. Just so you have a fair warning.
All competitions will require a background. A background will be provided, but you get a little extra scoring if you make your own (obviously, if you use a different art program, you will have to make your own). The background is not judged as strictly as the horse itself, but will add to your points.
Foals and minis will be allowed to compete in certain competitions, but most will be for adult full-sized horses. But we do need at least one foal per HARPG (we have a foals-only competition...).
The Shows
All shows will be open for entries on March 24th at midnight CS time. They will all close on April 24thMay 1stMay14thMay 21st. Closing date may be adjusted if neededNo more deadline extensions.
Rules
> Five riders per HARPG (one of which must be the owner)

> One rider from each stable per competition
> One rider cannot represent multiple stables
> Any digital art program can be used for the competitions; traditional is also accepted
> No complaining, whining, nagging, etc.
How to Participate
Each competition will have an oekaki page. You click "COLORMEIN" and do your art (if you are using a different art program, just post it unaltered with your entry in your post). You must fill out the form given and post it with your entry. Most of you should already know how to do this...
Scoring and Judging
I, the judge, will be looking closely for the following.
> Detail - each little detail counts
> Shading and highlights - highlights are not required, but they do add quite a bit; shading is required
> Clean lines - if you aren't doing lineless, the lines must be neat and clean
> Anatomy - anatomy is, obviously, very important
