Mistypaw purred quitely and ran off. She saw the squirrel slowly going up a tree. She looked at it and thought for a moment. She slowly climbed up a tree and stayed hiden. As the squirrel started to run past her, she pounced at it and gave it a killing bite. She hopped down and placed the squirrel on the ground.

Kane eventually made it to the edge of the forest, the grassland's swaying before him now. "Cinder!" he yowled with all he had, calling to his little sister. His voice choed for some way through the trees behind him and the grasses before him. He listened closely for anything to come back.

A very faint sound reached Cinder's ears, but she could make it out. She nessled deeper under the bush she was under, afraid. Where was her brother? Why did he leave her like this?
