I enjoyed the designs being on the other lines, however since it has been confirmed that the lines Equimagine submitted were copied/traced, I support the switch to Yulynh's lineart fully. I wouldn't want CS to get in trouble :c, and I want the site to continue to have a good reputation c:
I'm excited about the Unicorns! and it would be awesome to get new Fennec lines (even though I love the adult lines).

Tess said only 1 growth stage of the Fennec foxes was copied; the rest wasn't. Only that 1 growth stage will be changed.

Hey, Tess! Might we get some new drafts and fennec foxes to celebrate the new lines when they're ready? Do we get a maybe?

we're definitely planning on releasing some more drafts in the near future... I'm sure we'll also have plans for new fennecs once we have lines to be proud of

these new lines are likely to remain for "Special occasions" as they always were, but the old ones have been retired for years now, the new ones are not retired and we can begin using them for our special events and other occasions

I do have one question...

There is one 'artistic flavor" (so to speak) that is repeated a few times in the horse lines... meaning that the horses from the 'litter' from July 2010

Are going to end up looking a lot like other releases (as an example the Feb 2011 horses)

Though that is just one example, because there are many releases that seem to have the same theme of dots and swirls with different coat patterns.

This is why I think that a slight change to the current lines for those changing over would be a good thing, because both groups are uncommon and the 'undercoat' color very close meaning it was the line art that really made them stand apart. Perhaps we could have a slight modification to the lines to make sure that these designs we love will still have their little unique flair to set them apart?

The horses you linked are related, the equi litter was bred to make the 2nd gen Yul horses, so it is clear why they look similar.

These are likely to also be replaced, but we don't have a new lineart yet, so we'll make a new announcement about those in the future.

While I am one of the "No" voters, I do feel that your reasons make a very valid and Good point, and I do think the lines are very pretty. I will just have to force myself to not be so set in my ways and accept the change. LOL! After all, who could not love these beautiful animals. Thank you Tess for keeping us updated step by step and letting us play a part in this decision.

Only definitive proof of the middle stages. Honestly I feel like art theft should sort of be an ejection from official artist status immediately. Either way.

Besides, earlier I think she said we might get new fennecs on holidays, and I doubt a middle-stage lineart change would make that happen. I'm certain the adult is being changed too. ^^

Those ones are related, but there are two litters based on eagles/hawks I think, one that was Equi's while the other was Yul's? I've wondered what will be done to keep them from ending up looking too similar.
