Petalfall managed her usual soft smile as she nosed the tom's ear in thanks, "Might I ask about you?" She began to ask but regretted it, not wanting to upset or bring back painful memories for the tom.

Swiftcreek opens his mouth to speak, but only a sigh escapes his mouth after his words ran lost in his head. "W-well..." He pulled his tail away and wrapped it tightly around his paws. "I never had much of a kit hood. I am just like any other warrior, really. An average fighter, decently well at hunting-but I did lose my parents, my siblings, and the apprentice I was to become mates with." he mumbles. A half-hearted chuckle sounds from him,"I am still a young warrior, anyways. But I'm glad to have joined SunClan now, and have a new beginning for a change." To not just be one of the crowd, or another tom amongst the other few dozen or so.

The small white and brown tabby furred she-cat softly rested her tail on his shoulder with understanding, "I lost the tom to be my mate as well." She admitted softly, "He was a part of my group of toms:Racoonstrike, Thistlefang, and Cloudstrike." She said softly as she looked towards the sky, "His name was Lionfang, he perished trying to pull me from a tree that had caught me." She said softly looking down at her paws, the she-cat still blamed herself for the loss of the tom.

Excellent. Loudpaw was doing great. At this rate, Loudpaw will have his warrior name in no time. She steadily and silently inches up an oak tree and perches on a high branch overseeing the hunter.

Loudpaw kicked frozen soil back over his catch, turning away and senting the air once more. He got nothing but a cold, stinging nose. He snorted in frustration. There was nothing out now. It was cold and everything was hiding away, warm. But he wouldn't give up. He'd bring in everything possible. The ginger tom peered under a bush, seeing nothing. He padded away, wondering and hunting in giant circles.
