Ino Yamanaka

The lecture was long and boring since she had heard it already a bunch of times before. Though, she did listen contently and didn't whine like Kiba sometimes did. Kiba never realized when he whined though, which was funny. She slowly got up, realizing the grass stains on her knees and grass imprints on her palms. Ino didn't care though and she just wiped off some extra grass from her hands onto her riding pants. They were going on a trail ride anyway so it didn't matter if she got her clothing dirty or saddle pad. She had already picked out which saddle pad she would be using for each day and that day she would be putting on a pretty minty green saddle pad fit for summer weather. Balou always looked good with any color so it didn't matter what saddle pad she chose. She just liked to organize what was going to happen. She tightened her pony tail and went over to Sakura as instructed by her aunt. Sakura was supposed to take the experienced riders. Ino then smiled as Kiba walked over right next to her and she elbowed him. "What are you doing here? You're not experienced." Ino said in a quiet and witty tone as they waited for more instructions from Sakura.

Hinata Hyūga

Hinata got up from the ground and gently wiped off her hands to go find her way towards Sakura's aunt. She still didn't believe she was an experienced rider since she had just started taking lessons. She hadn't started to jump or seriously canter or anything like that. She took her hair and put it over her shoulder to let her neck get hair since it was so hot out. Hinata had refused to take off her sweat shirt even though Neji said it would be in the 90s temperature wise. Maybe she would take it off later... maybe. For now she walked over to Sakura's aunt and waited for further instruction. Secretly, she was a bit scared to work with the horses.

Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke still sat in his room but now he was playing on an old Nintendo game boy. It was kind of his secret because he never played on it in front of anyone. Sasuke guessed he never wanted anyone to see he enjoyed something. He was sitting criss-crossed legs on his bed and he played Final Fantasy contently. He was rapidly pressing buttons but it wasn't really making any sounds and he had the volume turned down. He'd rather be playing video games then riding horses like the rest of them.

KIBA INUZUKA

"In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds."

Kiba stifled a cocky laugh and got up, "Hmph. You aint seen nothin' yet, Blondie. Redman's a big boss and you'll learn it soon enough."
Red was Redman's best color, OBVIOUSLY. That's where he got the name... well, he also got his name from the brand of tobacco Kiba's Ma and Pa would always chew around the farm but it was also just cause the big, dark chestnut quarter horse looked good in the color red.
The stallion's fly sheet, winter blanket, halter and polo wraps were dark red as well as his western rug which had black woven into it as well. Kiba's show clothes matched, of course. The fanged boy had a nice red and black western button up shirt with a string tie, black hat and black chaps that he never seemed to grow out of. He didn't show much though, so it didn't matter.

JESSICA HARUNO

"Alright, guys 'n girls. Get in the two groups I assigned you and chill out. I'll help you guys choose and tack up your school horse. We'll go over some safety rules too." she ordered, turning to her niece, "Sakura, you get Annie ready and pretty much just help out the other boarders... which would be Kiba, Ino, Shikamaru and yourself."

SAKURA HARUNO

"But what truly horsey girls discover in the end is that
boyfriends, husbands, children, and careers are the substitute-for horses"

Sakura smiled when she found out that there weren't any other boarders.
"Got it, Auntie." she said.
The smaller the group, the better. The more friends in the group, the funner. Last year, Sakura was stuck with 6 boarders who she'd never met before. The majority of them were older and snobbier than her. It was awful.
Sakura was really glad that all her friends were here for the next few weeks and she was looking forward to seeing them ride, because she'd really never ridden with them like this.

NARUTO UZUMAKI

"Horses change lives. They give out young people confidence and self-esteem.
They provide peace and tranquility to troubled souls, they give us hope."

"WOO!" Naruto whacked the top of his helmet a few times, "Group!"
He got up off the grass, not even wiping his grassy stained rear end off, and strolled over to Hinata, Lee, Neji, Tenten and Choji who were a distance away from him. They were in his riding group... but they weren't the only ones.
"Hey, where's Sasuke?" Naruto asked, "And the shady nerd guy!"
He slapped himself mentally as he struggled to remember Shino's name.

SHIKAMARU NARA

"When I hear somebody talk about a horse or cow being stupid;
I figure it's a sure sign that the animal has somehow outfoxed them "

Shikamaru remained on the ground, he wasn't going to get up until he was physically given the direction to get his horse. He wanted to ride but it was the temperature was pushing 80 degrees Fahrenheit and he wasn’t going to wear himself out before they even mounted up. He never had the energy that Kiba or Naruto did in the summer; he couldn’t even keep up with Choji sometimes.
Nolan was looking forward to be worked though. The horse could be stubborn and drag his feet just like his rider but if he had food in his belly and the flies weren’t nipping at his ears, he’d pick his head up and prance around like a young colt.

I HAS PLOT

Okay, so we can time skip again to maybe 10 minutes into the tack up.
Kiba and Ino can have a little quarrel over the 'western riding vs english riding' matter xD I do that with my friends, I ride western because it's more comfortable but they think it's really uncomfortable.
They're split into groups and know where they're going.
The beginner group are going in the inside ring and are going to be going over how to mount, adjust stirrups and girth as well as simple walk-trot rules/equitation. It'll be boring for US but this'll be quite the adventure for our characters. Remember, Hinata's gonna be nervous and Naruto's going to be over confident(he's gonna mess up a lot).
The advanced group are going to warm up in the outdoor grass ring. There's two outdoor rings! A grass ring and a sand ring! They can jump crossrails or whatever under Sakura's supervision and then Sakura can get her horse and they'll go on a very quick trail ride down the road, through the woods and arrive back at the farm.
That's when they'll hose off their horses and get ready for their first BBQ lunch(Chuck's at the store getting the meat and corn xD). Kiba and Ino can get in a little water fight if you want. I've been craving KibaIno scenes in this, we can throw in whatever we want when they're riding. Maybe Redman can buck Kiba off or something xD

So keep that in mind whenever you're stuck. I'm okay with little time skips to get through the boring, hard-to-RP stuff. We can skip to the fun parts because isn't that why were here? So Kibachu and Dreamy-chan can goof off and make our OTP do whatever we want them to do?

KIBA INUZUKA

The heavy leather western saddle was being carried over Kiba's shoulder like a big grenade launcher. It must have been at least 40 pounds but Kiba carried it like nothing, even though it was starting to hurt.
He left the tack room and went out to the long metal bar where Redman was tied up next to Ino's horse. The saddle was hung on a nearby fence and Kiba returned to the tack room to get the saddle rug and saddle pads. Redman had bony withers so Kiba put this black pad that looked like a tiny foam jockey saddle on Redman's withers so they wouldn't get sore under the weight of the big western saddle.
When all the pads were placed on Redman's back, Kiba went to get the saddle.
He approached Redman with the western saddle but all of a sudden, the large horse stomped both feet and threw his head, trying to back away from the bar he was tied to. His hooves were shuffling around and the lead rope was beginning to come undone from the bar.
"Woah, crap!" Kiba gasped, but he wasn't really in a position to run to his horses aid. Hopefully, the girl tacking her horse up next to his horse(who was inches from breaking free and possibly bolting) could make an attempt to stop Redman from hurting himself!
"Ino, grab his lead!"

JESSICA HARUNO

"Alright, anyone need help finding the right saddle and bridle for your horse? It's important. A horse wont like it if they have some other horse's bit in their mouth, just like how we don't share toothbrushes!" Jessica laughed at herself.
She was pretty nervous. There was a large crowd of kids this summer and the majority of them were quite inexperienced with horses. Accidents were bound to happen but Jessica really wanted those accidents to happen anytime that's not the first day!
Little did she know, Kiba's horse was already trying to cause chaos in the back of the barn but thankfully Kiba was one of the more experienced ones in the group of 12.

SAKURA HARUNO

Sakura was expected to 'supervise' the 'experienced group' and 'not ride until they're warmed up'. It wasn't fair! Sakura wanted to mount up and ride at the same time as her friends but Aunt Jessica had promised that she'd be able to later on in the ride. What Jessica meant by that was that Sakura would be leading them on a 5 minute trail ride then hopping off.
Whatever.
So right now, Sakura was just patrolling around the barn and seeing who all her friends who were 'inexperienced' had chosen to ride(school horses).
She wasn't surprised when she found that many of the were riding the easiest gaited horses on the farm, the ones who'd been working for so long that they were almost like robot horses who did everything perfectly! Meanwhile, the boarder's horses were the opposite of robots. Their horses had crazy, unpredictable personality because most of them were either green or just naturally spunky.
Horses are a lot like people in how diverse their personalities and ways of living are.

NARUTO UZUMAKI

"Hello... uh... Sparky?" Naruto cocked his head and looked into the eyes of the stocky chestnut pony in front of him, "That's your name?"
Sparky didn't respond. Sparky couldn't respond because Sparky did not speak English.
"Oh, oh, I see." Naruto suddenly looked like he was doubting this whole horse thing. He was watching as one of the nameless stable boys carried a saddle out to him. The worker just handed it to him and then left.
"Uh.... thanks?"
The English saddle was nothing but a foreign object to Naruto.
Now he was really doubting this horse thing.
Gah, now I have to ask for help! I wish I knew more about this!!

SHIKAMARU NARA

Shikamaru was actually tacking Nolan up in a stall because he knew bringing his horse out to an area full of other horses would mean that Nolan would get too distracted. That would mean Shikamaru would have to put extra effort into keeping his horse still so he could brush and tack him up.
Once Shikamaru was mounted and in control, Nolan didn't try to sniff other horses or graze so Shikamaru planned to hop on right after leading Nolan out of his stall.
