Ink didn't respond, he just lay there in the grass, motionless and bleeding.

(( Yesh. I didn't know. xD I had been away all weekend. xP ))

Yara frowned, leaning down and nuzzling InkJr before throwing back his head and howling loudly. He knew it wouldn't help InkJr, but it made him feel better.

Chako joined in the howling, their sorrowful cries mingling to create a sad yet beautiful melody. She was happy in a way, Yara was back, but sad that Ink was hurt. A bittersweet feeling.

Ink was trying desperately to stay alive, but every minute it got harder and harder. Was there nothing he could do now? He whined weakly and tilted his head to the side, looking up at Chako with a distant gaze, as if he were somewhere else...The pup shivered and shut his eye again, feeling like snow was falling on top of him because he felt so cold.

Stay Ink, or I'll never forgive myself... Chako looked down at the pup.

Hakuri sped out of nowhere and grabbed the dying pup by his ear and held him up, growling. "I told you lot I'd kill this kid if he ever came back!" He snarled, not seeing Yara. He shook Ink violently and slammed him in to the ground, pressing his paw down on his throat. The dog that was 'Yara's friend' bit down in to the poor pup's tail and threw him in to a tree so hard that most of it snapped off, leaving just a little bob. ((Like the bob-tailed pets here on CS. X3))

Yara howled louder, trying to speak with the council, to reinforce his earlier message to them. What use was InkJr in their little fight? He needed to stay here, with them.

Chako grabbed Hakuri by the neck and hissed, "And I promised to kill you if you tried!"

Yara snarled at Hakuri. "Hakuri. What are you doing to Ink!" He growled, taking his friend from Chako. "I'm disappointed."

[SilverHund]

Chako stepped back, letting Yara handle it. It was his friend, and he could do what he liked with Hakuri. He was a pile of trash.
