If the tracing were such a problem, I'm sure that Tess and Nick would have dealt with it years ago. And, as I've said before, if the lines were going to be changed for legal reasons, they wouldn't have put up a poll. They would've just changed the lines.

also, will the buckskin PPS / other advent list horses' linearts be replaced?

Not trying to 'fearmonger', but it wasn't a threat when this thread was opened, true. People just made such a big deal about it that it may be a problem now.

Not saying there is a threat because who knows, but very much a real possibility now that people are so worked up about pixel horses.
Also, Tess doesn't have to let members know what going on all the time, this site is her responsibility, Her confirming there's a legal issue would send people into a panic. So even if it ends up being a threat, it would be wise of her to not say anything now. It'd be bad to have the members flurry into a panic and create even more drama.

As far as I know there is possibly a second poll that will be set up specifically dealing with peoples favourite PPS horses, I thought I saw Tess mention something about that on the first post, but don't quote me on it.

That's a good point. The legal thing and art theft is the only reason I would vote yes. But I'm wondering if the legal thing is more of a problem now than back then. I heard the photographer was contacted recently, but I might be wrong.
