I don't think Yul should change her lines, nothing's wrong with them :T
Anyways, I don't think they'll be changed just because some users want them to look like 'they're moving'. And Atwood ^ has a point.

Yulynh isn't; it's the line-art of equimagine that is being changed.

They need to. It's stolen/traced line-art and isn't permit-table in any case.

Eqi's are in a full gallop. What gait are the horses in?

Three feet are on the ground and the horse is leaning back on them it looks like the horse is in a more defensive stance of the herd while standing rather than moving. I could be totally wrong of course, but that's just what I see. If I google "running horse" I can't find an image where all 3 feet are on the ground like that. The ones I do find, the other leg is stretched way out in front.

Actually it's got both forelegs off the ground, as the pose is a running horse just before the leading hoof touches down. :3 If you compare the far foreleg to the far hind, you can see that the hooves aren't on the same plane.

Oof, I didn't even notice the other leg wasn't on the ground. c':

I cant tell which leg. Anyways I am super excited for the potential draft change. I have always loved the drafts, but the new lines just make them even more adorable.

Another reason I hope this goes through is because I'm genuinely super pumped and interested to see what all the designs will look like on Yulyhn's lineart. Like...ahhhh I'm just so curious and the current examples look really great and it's a project that could bring a lot of excitment to CS. <3
I can't bring myself to add to any negativity because it's a step taken by the CS team that makes me really happy to be around to see.

I don't know, not really good about articulating my thoughts. I just figured I should add this part of my feelings to the discussion because everything seems to be centered around art theft lately, and while I'm happy we as a site are finally talking about this, I feel like the fact that this is actually a really cool and exciting project/initiative is sort of getting looked over.

so yeah, thanks to the artist and Tess for making this happen, I really hope it goes through.
also hot damn I said this before but those drafts are gorgeous

If the traced lines are illegal, why did it take this long to replace them? In my opinion, it should of been right when it was discovered to replace them, not now when so many new + old CS members have fallen in love with them. :/

Ah, but the pictures helped much better. I still have a hard time seeing how the horse is running, but at least now I can see that it's moving. (Slow lope?)

Yulynh isn't; it's the line-art of equimagine that is being changed.

I think you misunderstood. Some users were talking about how Yul's horse lines don't look like they're trotting/galloping, but how equi's do.
