allow me to point out that this is not free hand either it is an obvious trace it seems that the the lines are too find and thick to be freehand. free hand lines are subtle not dark thick and closed off as these are. also slight mistakes in the tracing can be found such as the line on the neck that was added after having completly traced and the belly has line on it as well that is tracing mistake.


a mistake that indeed I have made in tracing things as small child. When I was younger I used to trace things I made that mistake of tracing a line that wasn't there because I simply could not see too well with the lighting.

keep in mind this was me when i was at the age of 6 or 8 i was a little kid at the time.

a trace is easy to prove whether through a computer or just by looking at something.

Not happy with the line-art being changed? Think that having stolen work is good for a site? Want to see it stay? Hardly! From what I've seen...most of the posts say that they condone this theft and that they don't want the change to happen. Sorry folks, but if it's good for the site and the rules, it's what is best. Do what's been suggested several times; save the images to your computer, then you can place them into your siggy. Having stolen artwork on here is not good in any way, so quit acting like it is. You're making this into a bigger thing than what it actually is and I'd rather see this go through than know that Tess got a warning/notice/whatever from the DMCA about keeping it on her site. No one knew that it was going to happen, yet it did. The person who did it apologized, just...quit, ok?

Sure, you can have your opinions and state them, but to continually state that you don't want them to do away with the lineart...unbelievable. If I were the one to have those photos she traced, I'd be livid. I'd be like "That is my artwork, so why is that person stealing from me?" Get my point? Let's not continue all this negative argument and have very decent discussions.

i believe the brown and white draft horse would be good for a banner.

To tell the truth, I think that the entire Equimagine horse design be trashed.
Changing the lineart from Equi's to Yulgnh's isn't dealing with the obvious art theft.
CS is a team of artists - you all address the art theft that normal users commit all the time by giving them a warning and locking the topic or deleting the art itself.
I see this as only a way for the website to condone art theft - why change the lineart? Why not the design entirely?
